Ping HostMonitor for Android
This app is great
Anyone who responsible for a server to remain up and running should have this app installed. It has become invaluable to our IT and Executive team in quickly addressing a downed server. Many times before clients begin to call and complain about inaccessibility.
Crash on add host
I used to love this app. But because the OS menus have changed on the note5 I can't even configure the default local host monitor, much less add my own. Can we get a GUI update please??
Works for some IP's, not for others even. Cannot ping Google.

Useless
Приложение удобно для постоянного мониторинга твоих хостов, сигнализирует об отсутствии связи, гибкие настройки пингования!
I can ping the host from my phone, but this app says it's down.
Same as David Knight here.
Had setup a site, all looked good, then switched away from app. Next time I loaded, black screen except for title bar - (no sites shown etc). Going into 'properties' and add site causes a crash - So yep useless as it is right now.
Does just what it says. My only complaint is that the server list always wants to fight me when I'm scrolling through my list. It keeps trying to go back to the top of the list.
Feature Request: When the status of a host changes back to online add the option to notify the user. Other than that this is a great app.
How can I keep this application running even when phone is in standby or sleep or whatever causes my ultra bucket vpn by anchor Inc to turn off when I am not using my phone for a little while. ANYONE know of a real deal vpn that doesn't shut off without permission?
Everything I need included, very professional.
Nice way to verify that my phone's hotspot is still up.
Best tool to monitor ISP's & Webhosts
Great but make it easy way.
Useless
Just crashed
Used for 3 months, Network selection for monitoring helps to reduce false alarms, and with audible and visual feedback you can always be sure of being the first to know if one of your servers are down! With a little improvement in preventing false alarms during network transitioning between wifi and 3G networks this would be close to a faultless little app! Love it!
This is a nice simple app for detecting for hosts and services on hosts are up or not. The documentation for the app is good as well. All very simple and straightforward. Running on Razr MAXX

Brilliant app - I now know my servers are down before I get angry messages saying x y or z cant be accessed - pure life and time saver!! ONLY missing feature is automatic audio/visual notification of server returning to "UP" status.... It does this when a server goes down but I'd also like it for when a server comes back up.
This app only seems to do its monitoring if the phone is active, unless I've got it set up wrong. That being the case, it's not great at alerting when a server goes down as I have to turn the phone on to check.
best apps for network tools.. bravo
Good network tool. Tks.
Doesn't work on epic 4g
Very nice tool. Anyway, it doesn't resolve hostnames on every check but only when starting app. So it is useless after ip changes on dynamic hosts.
Works well. I like the widget and notification alarm.
Exactly what I needed for my LAN. THANK YOU!
The widget is okay. I would like to see all my monitored IP as separate line items. Working on Droid X with ICX on it.
