The Fly Casting Tracking Simulator is a valuable tool for improving the accuracy of the hand and arm movement. The app is specifically designed for fly fishers and fly casters wanting to improve their casting skills.

Fly casting requires the ability to move the fly rod in a straight path to gain both accuracy and distance.

This app utilizes the phone's built-in accelerometer to provide audial and visual feedback in real time to indicate deviation from the straight path of the hand motion during a simulated casting movement. The simulated casting movement is performed by moving the hand, as if doing forward and backward casts, while holding the phone with it´s back side in the palm of the hand.
