Xtreamote

Very good app! I use a XT Sidewinder and it works pretty well. I just hope there would be updates. Power button and back/return to menu doesnt work properly.

Seems like a great app, would love to be able to use it with my Prodigy!

Decent app. The browse function doesn't seem to work with my Sidewinder 3, but the remote is actually pretty good.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Great feedback from.the developer - fast, he kindly agreed to implement a feature request in upcoming releases

Works great with Xtreamer Pro. Simple and fun way to operate the Xtreamer when listening to music without the need to turn on the TV.

Works fine with my sidewinder mk1 just make sure you have the web server enabled or it won't work. The only thing I'm missing is the arrow buttons for time skipping and menu navigation but I see they're replicated using gestures in the screen menu. It works but a lot of users might miss that. I guess since the app hasn't been updated in over a year we likely won't see an update again but thanks anyway!

I have 60G of music in the xtreamer organized in artistalbumtrack. I noticed some tracks just woudn't play, thgh viewable in browser...

It`s much better than the Xreamer's remote in order to navigate trough the files. Thanks.

The screen menu should have the swipe and tap feature, so we can access the internet radio stations without turning the tv on. That would make the Xtreamer an even better player.

Finally a decent Xtreamer remote! Missing some features and UI could be better, but it is working :-)

I love my xtremer(the first one that came out) but this made me decide to never buy any xtremer product ever again) 90% of the time this craap isnt connecting and i made any adjustments needed. When it works the ui is ignorant and annoying and by the updates rate you can see that this company doesnt give a crap about the consumer.

Works somewhat with my Prodigy. Would be good to have full functionality. but in the meantime, this does the job. UI isn't intuitive.

Doesn't work on my Sidewinder 3. Simply can't connect to the IP. I assume it's due to the remote not working with the Prodigy (same firmware as sidewinder3) yet... Eagerly waiting for the update to re-test and re-evaluate.

Cant seem to get goto working. Goto button is working but how do you change the time in goto? In the real remote you use arrow buttons in the program it doesnt work?

Works great but please add support for multiple xtreamers (as I have 2 (maybe via a shortcut on one of workspaces)) and web radio streams. Thanks in advance.

I have one media player and two screens linked to it. This is great for playing video while in the kitchen and away from the player (which is in the lounge). However, it does seem to have an issue with videos with an ' (apostrophe) in the name (probably some character escaping that needs to be implemented over http). Because of this it will not play them directly from the drive/folder view, you have to manually navigate to them using the top touchscreen 'arrow keys/swipe feature' on the app while watching the screen (which means I sometimes don't watch where my fingers are and end up pulling down the top Android notification bar by accident). Other than that it does what I need it to do :) Would be great if they implemented a feature that allowed you to stream a video stored on your Android device directly to the Xtreamer (should be doable by network sharing the folder on Android device and then sending the correct http commands to play it).

Cannot connect. username/password - do I need this? what am i missing here? what ports are used to connect? I cannot find any docs. Useless app. uninstall.

The only thing I've couldn't find is to start to play the entire album when in browsing mode. It's only possible when T V is turned on. it's worth of 4stars, but without support and update it only gets 1. No update till November :(

cant view m4a files while in browser mode.. also unable to play entire album in browser view.. please fix...

Doesn't work with Sidewinder 3!

Even when my Wifi signal is very strong and I dont have any problem in connecting to the Wifi from my phone, I keep getting "disconnected from Wifi" (but only from this App). I usually get this error while opening folders with many files in them (if that may be the reason). I had the same problem with my old Samsung Galaxy S3 too. Please fix! Thanks for the efforts !

Excellent app. I tried it with Prodigy and it worked once but now it's not connecting. Please add support! I'm on Prodigy 3.5 RC 10

So little achieved. The devs need a thorough UX cunsulting (both on the app and the streamer UI). They just don't understand UX, what a pity. It's not intuitive, but after figuring out how to use it, it's actually just a replacement (and a poor one) to the plastic remote control that came with the streamer. The devs missed the potential to use the android touch screen to do what it does best - navigate, enter information, perform advanced operations. example - if I navigate in the HD, why not selecting and playing a file? why not drag and drop files to re-order files? delete files? There's so much more to comment on.. - bugs: the connection is lost very often. need to restart the app to connect again.

Doesn't work on nexus 7

Although it see my Network Shares and can browse the folders, I can't play the movies. It just can't start it. Other than this, works great. Back button on phone should exit the application.
