Seasonal Fruit

Seasonal Fruit is an application that shows a list of just that - the fruits available in the current season.

Its purpose is to provide the consumer with a hint to what fruits taste the best right now. Of course the season vary a little so use the buttons to check whether there might be other fruit that still is in season or if the season is earlier than usual. The app is good for use in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and possible other countries that have the same ripening periods and import.

In general when a fruit is in season the providing countries have a surplus of that fruit and try to sell and ship it ASAP. Because of the ripe fruit and the quick shipping this is also the fruit that taste the best. So use this tool and your nose and hopefully you will get the best tasting fruits.

The default mode is to show only fruits with the least shipping distance (as they normally get here quicker) and also long distance fruits when they have season in their closest growing area.
