Talking Clock

I love your app! So much so that this is my first voluntary review. It's small and does the job awesomely! I use it often when I am running out of time to get out of the house. It's a real help. It allows me to still listen to my audio, popping over when it reports. And I am now able to know the time when needed in the shower. Thank you so very much for your app.

(Replaced with DVBEEP, great app!) Can't get to screen to set announcement intervals, and that's the only reason I installed this. Poor setup!!! Triple press of power button does say time as advertised, so at least that feature is convenient if you need it. I figured out that to stop the app, turn off the Run in Background button and exit.

Grate app for a notorious clock watcher. Works just how I wanted it to, but I just can't give it 5 stars without being able to turn auto announcing on and off dependent on day of week. I have to keep going into the app to turn it off for the weekend.

Used b4 with Samsung mobile. Was o.k. but stoped sometimes. So 4 stars. . . . .But now not at all working on Redme note 3. ... Plz advice. Now setting tabs not appear. Even after 2-3-4-5 times power button on-off no responce. So uninstalling. But keeping 4 stars to appreciate for your work. Keep it up for better.

This small app is very useful during night. But unable to set the language to United Kingdom (which speaks 'ten' for 10 and not one zero which happens when the language is set to English) it resets back to English automatically. Developer please address this issue. Thank you so much for this wonderful app

Not impressed with this one . The sonata 1. Integrated the talking clock app very well it work properly. This one has no way to access parameters on the second page of settings I don't like this phone but I love your app

Love the way you can make it day what you want as it tells you the time. only reason not five star, it says twelve behind the hour announcment no matter what you do in the settings. Other wise great talking clock app

Wonderful simple app. Does what it is suppose to. Been using it for couple of years. Recently since I changed to galaxyS5 not able to get into settings menu. Previous phones clicked bottom left button. On S5 this has changed. If there is different method I would appreciate feedback.

I used to love this app. All of a sudden it is not working right. For every hour it says for ex: it's 5:00, this app says it's 5:12. For every hour it says it's 6:12, 7:12, 8:12, etc. I tried everything to fix it and it's driving me crazy, please fix this bug, I'm uninstalling it. Sorry if u fix it I will re-download it.

The time is pronounced incorrectly. Instead of saying its two o'clock... It says... Its two zero zero o'clock. Otherwise its a nice app. Also 24 hour time is pronounced wrong... Needs to say fourteen hundred hours, but again it says 14 zero zero hours.

This app only occupies a small footprint in my mobile yet it is very useful. I use this app everytime. I use it to remind me of the time in the morning (I set up the voice every 5 minutes) to wake me up. I also use it during riding my bike. If I may suggest, please allow user to use google voice since not all langguages is supported. For example, the app doesn’t support yet Bahasa Indonesia but the Google voice does.

I used to LOVE this app. There used to be a setting where you didn't have to manually request the time to be spoken; you could set it to automatically announce the time every however minutes you wanted. (I did notice the 3rd screenshot still displays this) However, no way to actually get to this page of settings, if it still exists within the app. I use it while I'm gardening, etc., so I don't lose track of time. Whole reason for dl'ing again is gone. *uninstalling* :-(

Voice is clear...but depends on phone volume. ...should work independently. ....app volume NOT WORKING.. Another important issue is Interval enable/disable Option NOT WORKING. . If it is app id very good. Solve the issues.

This app is very light on storage and does the basic things that I need. The only thing that bugs me is that this app only retains the English accent. I can't set it to have British accent, it always returns to US English after exiting the app. Mtk6592, KitKat 4.4.2.

It shouldn't touch the volume. It should use the volume as it is set. It can keep going until it completely mutes the volume. It can also stop speaking for long intervals. I have it set to every 5 minutes for the mornings when I am getting ready for work.

I use this app when my phone is connected to am external Bluetooth speaker. App does not consistently speak the time. I am playing music at the same time, and only occasionally does the app speak the time.

BUT! Please add option to announce time OUT LOUD when headphone is plugged in, as i (and some other people) always keep headphone plugged in wether i use the phone or not...

Has a few bugs the developer needs to fix: doesn't properly adjust the volume when announcing the time; seems slow to speak/pauses when pushing speak now. A good start and better than the others.

Galaxy S3, S5 - tells me the time every hour - like a cuckoo clock, only doesn't make distracting noise, just says the time. I can configure it till it is exactly how I want it, doesn't use up my battery. I tend to lose track of time. Hearing the hour helps me keep on task. Can still use some improvements, but does the job now! Switched to Galaxy S5 and can no longer access the settings menu to set interval. Is there another way to access this menu?

It still worked with Android 5.0, but only when charging or when the screen is on. Notifications conflict with the app? The best time-announcing app available.

Guys can u fix this error, it speaks 12 instead of o clock, eg 6.12 instead of 6 o clock Yes app volume doesnt work fix that too

I've emailed the developer, awaiting a response, the volume in the app doesn't work properly even though I've maximized the volume, will change rating once this issue is resolved

I've been using this app without any problems, then when I switched to a Samsung On5, I am no longer able to access the setup via the left soft button because the buttons function has changed. That said, I can't get it to work on the hour. I guess I'll have to try another one.

I set it to go off every 15 minutes but for some reason it goes off randomly every 35 minutes or something like that. Have had this app before on a different phone and on the phone I have now also but since I reset my phone a few weeks ago the app has been glitching please fix for a higher rate

Samsung Galaxy S4. Simple, easy to use, resource friendly, behaves itself, and is exactly what I need! There are times during the day where I must be at a specific location at a specific time, and while an alarm set to notify me 10 minutes prior works, this handy app keeps me abreast of when I am - I get too absorbed in things to watch a clock, so this is perfect!

On a Samsung s5. It's perfect 5 star on motor g phone though.

It is simply lovely app but kindly made available Male Voice also. At present only female voice for time announcements is there. Pls add some music too . Like DING DONG.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 or Note 4. It's utterly silent, won't say a word (or a number). On Note 4 where are the advanced settings? How can I enable/disable based on time of day?

This app functionality is the best! But The settings is a joke? Nothing works nor described what it should do! Its volume, disabled on unlocking,... Not working! annoying app really.

Took away 2 stars for application volume... It's not working and it makes it hard to hear when music is playing. Pls fix.

To stop the application you have to force stop it. It would be much easy er if there was a quit button or the notification was tap to stop.

Set the announcement interval to 1 minute and when the display is locked, there were many instances where it would either fail to announce the time or the announcement came very late. There were also times where it would just stop announcing. However, if the display was not locked, this app worked just fine.

I like this app however I cannot select the 'United Kingdom' voice, which I really like as it is clear which the 'English' voice is not... If I have the English voice set I do not understand it... its quite angering as this is otherwise a fab app

Its really great app bt i have made talking interval after 30 minutes bt at the time of speaking it say like for eg---i have made intro and outro text like this its now 1:12 pm i mean exactly after an hour it speak like its now 10:12 pm(samsung gt-s6312)

I can't make the volume separate from my music volume. So it blends in with music and I don't hear it. This unfortunately renders an otherwise perfect app as useless. Can you fix that?
