Well implemented. Worked well with my Samsung three button headset and did what was expected. Though I hoped that the volume controls could also be used for changing tracks rather than triple and doubling clicking the play/pause button. Cheers anyway!

1. Let "open app" function work. Right now whenever I try to open ANY app (including Jay app itself) with my headphone it shows "this app is not found on your phone" on my screen and did nothing else 2. Include a "tell the time" function like Headset bottom controller, it can tell you the time without opening any app --Thanks for creating this awesome app, and hopefully you will take my suggestions to make it prefect!

I wish it would also work for tunning radio stations... developer if possible plz add and update asap...

Moto X Play, One Plus Headset I was having trouble with headset triggering Google Voice Search when I pressed the + button. This App solved this issue. Excellent App for customizing the headset buttons.

Nice app with simple settings. Fullfills all our needs for song control. Its perfect for bike riding. Single click setting for next song. Attend decline calls. Loved it

M70%
by M####:

I can no longer skip songs. It simply doesn't allow me to skip songs when I double click the middle button whether I'm in easy mode or advanced. I tried switching the input to holding the button to see if that would make a difference, but it just auto opens the Google app with voice command ready to go. I'll still stick with it though because before I couldn't even adjust volume :/

One star for incompatibility. EDIT: Now works but has broken Android Wear compatibility with the music app... Still 1 star.

I recently got some Bose in ear headphones for Android for my HTC. But because they are designed for Samsung devices in particular, the volume buttons on the inline remote were skipping tracks rather than changing the volume. So after some time searching the settings for changing the controls, I decided to download this app. I'm more than impressed with it. So far, it does more than expected. You can control the functionality of each button and also choose what media app to use as default plus more.

Works flawlessly, even when the app is closed. Returned a lot of the functionality I missed about my iPhone. It even works with apple earpods (minus volume, but that's because of apple loving its proprietary tech).

The easy set up is absolutely perfect. Control music and answer calls on your wired headset. I have a one button skullcandy headset. Going to try this with a 3 button later.

I was wandering if there is some way to control music while driving. And voila its there. I wanted something like this which is customizable enough and works like charm.

N70%

Would give 10/5 if possible. Just install it and forget it. App is useful for muting calls, controlling music. It just works flawlessly

M70%

Looks like just what I need, would be great if it worked with Bose headphones and Galaxy S3. The middle function button on my headphones keeps opening Google search which is rather annoying.

M70%
by M####:

It works exactly that I expected with Remax 3 button headset and my local branded android phone. Play pause, volume up and down, next track prev track. Awesome! Basic configuration does everything. Also there's advanced configuration for more customization.

M70%
by M####:

It works but I can't use the long press because google now keeps appering and I dozn't see the volume louder or lowered nothing happens all it can do is play, next, previous song

M70%
by M####:

Unfortunately the remote does not work with my S7 Edge....unable to even receive or end calls with the single button.....very very disappointed since it sounds great but very major UI issues.

M70%
by M####:

I have 3 buttons. but unable to set any click sequence for vol up or down. Anything I set with the app, volume control takes over. So I end up with default settings where I have to double, triple, click the middle button for anything.

It works well for my Asus Zenfone 5 except for volume control... hope in the future this issue have been resolve. sorry for bad english

U70%

After using this, the ringer volume can be changed without unlocking the screen. This made my phone change from loud to silent and vice versa when it was in my pocket with no headphones plugged in. A reboot fixes the issue until the next time you plug in your headphones. Uninstalling fixed it permanently.

Been looking for something to help me use my three buttons earphones on my chinese brand phone, and thos worked like a champ!

S70%

I have the jays5 headset and could not get the 3 button mode work with HTC m9. Whatever settings I do, it keeps doing what it wants. Upper and lower buttons just control volume, middle one skips track forward/backward. No double or triple click action or any other action possible with the buttons except the middle button only doing what I've just said.

S70%
by S####:

Coming from an iPhone, it bothered me that the Android headset that came with galaxy phones didn't have playback options besides play/pause. This app allows you to set double and triple clicks to next and previous song respectively. If only there was a way to skip forward and backward...

JAYS Headset Control works *completely* on my Moto G after a number of other headset-control apps failed. A digression on the fun and frolic of attempting to use a headset on a moto G: 1 - you probably already know but the Moto G does not support 3-button headsets. On the other hand the Moto G does support the middle button on a three-button HTC headset. 2 - it is been my experience that the Moto G does not support Samsung single button headsets and, surprisingly, Motorola single button handsets. YMMV.

S70%
by S####:

People, make sure your headphones are supported. If only one button is working for pause/play, then they're not compatible. Apple screwed everything up, by making a new proprietary pin-out. This is the cause of so much confusion and frustration.

I really like this app. I love the fact that it gives me control over my music player. I just wish that it could override the default google long press. And also, can't you make a notification bar icon? It awkward seeing that blank space up there.

S70%
by S####:

Apart from starting & stopping playback nothing works (no volume control, no skip fwd or back, ...). Also Samsung's apps seem to interfere with it. When I stop a podcast (using Pocket Casts), Samsung's Music player starts...

Y70%
by Y####:

It's the perfect app I wanted. I was hesitant as I do not have any JAYS ear/headphones, so after trying other apps and failing to like them, I gave this app a shot, and it works flawlessly with my Sony headphones. Love the UI, as simple as it can be.

S70%
by S####:

Triple-clicks are only recognized intermittently: the headset monitor recognizes them every time, but Google Play Music doesn't seem to always pick up on them. Instead, it just skips the track. I'm using the default timings. Advertising volume control as a feature on single-button headsets seems a bit disingenuous: something like 90% of Android users are on 4.1+. Why advertise a feature I wasn't expecting to have when you're just going to disappoint and/or confuse (the note that it won't work unless you're on Ice Cream Sandwich or below isn't exactly prominent) a strong majority of users? For free, it's pretty good, and my headphones are much more useful now that I have the app, but 'just OK' (the text which appears when I hit three stars) more-or-less sums up my feelings.

C70%

I used to have this app when the UI was too busy and found it frustrating, I only wanted call mute and song skip with one click, that's it! They cleaned it up nicely, and now I can easily skip songs with random inline headset controls. I'll recommend it to all Android friends

I use an HTC One M8 and I own a pair of Samsung earbuds. Usually when I'd plug them in and try to use volume controls, it's either replay or skip the song, but with this app, everything works perfectly. Aside from the half second delay for each action, it will occasionally open up Google Play Music and replay two random songs from there every other time it's pressed, but a simple solution is to disable it in the setting. Then it works perfectly for volume control and playing/pausing music! So for that- 5/5!

The app is just 600kb (approx) in size and works flawlessly with my Micromax Xpress2. Waiting for volume control in higher versions of Android.

S70%

Customizing the play/pause button works fine but doesn't work with volume up and down buttons. Nicely feature rich. Doesn't have full screen ads like the Degauss app. Though it does have some unnecessary permissions.

Hey, does this support 5.1.1? I'm using Euphoria custom ROM & it's not detecting any clicks. Hope to get a reply from you soon.
