About Altimeter

Altimeter uses the barometric pressure sensor built into your device to calculate the altitude above a specific reference layer. The reference can be set to a custom value, or you can use the current altitude as a reference.

In the settings screen, you can configure if altitude should be presented in meters or feet.

PLEASE NOTE!
Android Market should filter this app so it's only visible to devices having a pressure sensor, however, please ensure that the app works as expected and that you get readings from the pressure sensor within the Market refund window.

... in meters above the altimeter setting works perfect. However in feet the conversion is done the other way around, in the wrong way. E.g. LROP, Bucharest's Intl Airport, field elevation 314 ft, with a given QNH taken from current METAR it reads 96m and 30 something feet like instead multiplying meters it divides to get the feet value. This is wrong, please fix it since I bought it especialy as a backup for flying and because you can set a reference altimeter setting like in a aircraft altimeter.

Would be nice to add recording of altitudes over time, and automatic lookup of sea level pressure or known altitude at current location.
