VR Remote Desktop Free for Android
What vnc server software should I use on a Mac to make this work?.. it doesn't work with built in vnc even in 24bit. Edit:I found VNC tiger eventually worked. Calibration isn't all that great but I think that might be the VR platform rather than this app. Yea I tried with a password. I'm a developer myself so I was quite through. :-). It took me about 2 hours but I finally got it working on TigerVNC Server.
I am so excited about this app. Do critical reviewers not understand that it is Free and Open-Source Software? (correction - contains ads) Anyway I thank the author for making this and I hope it gets maintained, but if not people can always download and improve the PUBLIC source code (GPL licensed) and pass out improved versions themselves. Thanks again.
Pretty cool. Expands my laptop's screen to something even bigger than my desktop machine! That said, it would be nice if the screen curved around me; it gets difficult to read the text at the far edges. Also, (thought this is probably a limitation of the server, not this app) it would be great to extend my laptop's screen with a virtual monitor, so I have a virtual environment with 2-3 monitors. I usually work with my main work tool in front of me, then browser to the side for looking things up.
Tried many times to makes this work and it never does. Can connect with tradition VNC viewers just fine. Can't get VR VNC to work either :/ Tried it on a Droid Turbo running Lollipop.
Edit: Got my gyroscope calibrated. Couldn't be better! Desperately needs drift correction. Hard to use on my Galaxy S4 because of the constant drift to the left
It works like it supposed too with my Mac book Pro, but I don't like vnc, it just two slow please make a app which streams to video that would be amazing , so you can change the quality of the stream and make it soother ect
No instructions, probably doesn't work anyways lmao
Junk won't connect
Using it to VNC to my RPI. Screen looks good and is very readable. Camera as background also works very well.
데모사진에 내폴더가 보이는데;;; 혹시 학국인 제작자이신가요?
Permissions: none except the one needed.
How do you do this?????
Cannot connect
How do I connect it to my pc??????
Remote desktop up and running, but neither Bluetooth controller nor Bluetooth keyboard work with it (controller works with dev's cinema app VRTV). And looking/focusing doesn't do anything - the pointer points to where I want it to point, and that's about it... there's no 'trigger'. So basically useless.
I'm so bummed they stopped developing this app. It was so cool & had so much potential as a virtual desktop. I just want to know how to disable the magnifying effect and how to show the computer's mouse cursor. Please Come BACK!!
This app is paving the way forward to make VR computing a reality. It's working well on Windows 10 using the free version of VNC Server with Google Cardboard V1 + Samsung Galaxy Note 4. That being said, this is not something that's practical to use (at least with Google Cardboard). I can't read the words on my monitors and it would be difficult to type without being able to see my keyboard. I did notice that the drift is pretty bad as well...but this is just the beginning. Here are some tips for other people that can't figure it out: 1. You need to set up VNC Server on your computer (there is a free version available). 2. It's easier to have your phone and your computer on the same network (or else you'll have to port forward, open firewall ports, VPN, ect).

crap! I never couldn't connect, not with TightVNC nor with RealVNC. And there is no tutorial how to connect and which software you should use as server. You have to dig up everything by yourself.
Can't watch movies as it lags like it's 1999.
Works pretty well. I'd give 5 stars if you could make the AR mode compatible with the Merge VR headset (The camera cutout is on the right side unlike the cardboard)
Need an option to turn off magnifying glass... And as the developer replied that is how it works! Changed to 5 stars!
Ok have connected to my mac, cannot seem to progress beyond my login screen though, will attaching a bluetooth keyboard to my phone solve this? Thanks
hello, does this paid version allow you to optionally remove the "magnifying glass" on your app?.....i am not sure how useful that glass would be. thanks V
If i knew how to make the app work with my computer would give it 5 stars, until then i will give it 1 star.
No instructions on how to connect to a linux computer.
It is only wallpaper of vr settings?
it IS WORKING and it's a little game-changer, the developer supported me via mail. Great work!
Hi there! app looks brilliant, but for a beginner, what is the step by step process for setting this up?

Screen is just black now
Better instruction for idiots would be appreciated
No Instruction to setup client in the PC... Uninstalling...
How do you do this?????

How do I connect it to my pc??????
I love this app! I often use this to work on music and video editing from my turned off second monitor while everyone is watching media on the other monitor/tv. I feel like I'm already in the future.
I dont know how to use this app, it always says network problem. I need a Manual

It works ok, but I have not been able to use my bluetooth keyboard. I am running TightVNC server on Windows 10 and connecting with VR Remote Desktop Free. I have a logitech bluetooth keyboard connected to my Samsung S8 and it works fine in other applications. I have made sure that it is not set to "Viewer Mode". Is there another setting that I am missing?
