Smooth Calendar

Stopped working right after one of the last updates (over a year ago). I can think of another word that starts with "S" that better describes this app. It's definitely NOT smooth. Seems the dev gave up on it...Uninstalling.

Beware, does not work on Android 6.0! Bought the full version to export my settings before removing the widget in an effort to get it to work on Android 6.0 but I cannot import the settings, the files aren't selectable. They are saved as .INI but I can only select .TXT files from the import menu. Renaming the file to .TXT and importing it results in 'import failed'. Calendar fails to open, clicking the widget does not show the menu or open the calendar, tried all settings. Also, when you place multiple widgets and change the settings of one widget, they change for all widgets. App is completely useless... pity cause I really loved this app. Already got my refund.

Have to wait an hour or something for calendars to refresh before this widget refreshes. Makes it so difficult to experiment with settings.

Loads of customizations! I've been using it for some years now. But recently I've been unable to use it. It keeps freezing to the point where I receive notifications that it's stopped working all day. Then I'll remove and re-add it to my home screen and it won't let me open events or my calendar from it anymore. Currently searching for a different app similar to this one without all the errors. :-(

Was an excellent widget that I relied on daily, now doesn't work with Android 7.0 upgrade so have deleted it. I miss it - please fix the bug so I can revert to using this app, other calendar apps are pale in comparison.... it's a daily struggle now.

Have loved this widget for years and lately it's been real flaky. Not allowing me to select calendar, ranging displaying events (and only three). I've uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Please fix!

Thank you for this app Carl! It's great, I've been using it for years now. I have the premium version and was wondering if there was a way to automatically add holidays? I've done searches for the answer but can't seem to figure it out.

Use to work great on all my phones. Now Installed on my S7. Now when i hit the date the menu comes up. Then hit calender and my Gmail opens instead of month view or week view. Whats that all about? Will probably uninstall.

I've been using this app for years and never had a problem with it. But for months it has had a glitch where it shows the events part of the widget blank until I manually refresh it. Please fix this! Thanks!

I upgraded my Galaxy S7 to Nougat and now the date is stuck at March 18th... If I offset the date by 14 days (as of today) it shows April 18th instead. Seems like a simple programming error, hope you fix it soon

Have used this calendar widget for a while and loved it. It gave me the option to buy it so I can transfer my settings. Bought it and it won't work. I can't transfer settings. Please fix for 5 stars.

Upgraded to Android 6.0.1 and now the "jump directly to calendar item" appears to be broken. Worked flawlessly in Android 5.0.2. Am I doing something wrong or am I missing some required permissions? Will give 5 stars when fixed...

Widget can't display 3 items anymore, 2 and 4 display correctly but if you choose 3 items (default), then it just displays unlimited.

Great app. Unfortunately doesn't work on Xiaomi Mi Max. The widget can be set up but disappears overnight. Disappointed I cannot use it as before on Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Have been using this app for ages and is very useful and efficient. Recently upgraded phones and moving the events over was easy but it has installed a bunch of extra things, like an event for Ramadan that I can't seem to delete. It was great but might be looking for a new app/widget if I can't remove it. I use my calendar too much to want a reminder for random holidays that aren't relevant to me.

The app is low consumption, fast and has multiple option. Its a great app that doesn't clutter your screen and offers simply what you need from your calendar. Extras are then configured in the menu. I originally said it had issues with android 4.xx and up (crashed a lot), but that seems yo be fixed. Tested on android 6 and 7. Perfect.

Updated: I have used this for years. It's probably the most-used tool on my phone. It's set up to be the biggest display on my homescreen. There are zillions of calendar apps that try to be everything to every one. This does not add to the clutter. It's just a very useful widget that displays only what you want, and links to whatever app you want. The display is compact and very flexible. I recently paid the $2 to get the save/restore feature, but had issues with it. The author was quick in providing a resolution. Thanks !

I have used this app on every smartphone I have ever owned. From my very first which was a HTC Thunderbolt, then on to the Samsung Galaxy Skyrocket 2, it's work flawlessly. On the Note 7, I did have a couple of issues but I figured out how to fix it. You have to go into the app settings and give the appropriate permissions. The Note 7 is very different from the others.

Love this app and have used it for a couple of years. Recently upgraded to a Nexus 5X from the 5. Now this app will suddenly disappear from my home screen, possibly after I update other apps. Causes me to have to add it back and reconfigure all of my settings. Please update! Looks like no code updates since November.

Used for many years, liked it very much. Lately, Ive decided to upgrade to Premium verzion coz I wanna save my preferences and use the export/import settings function.....however, when I wanna import settings, it wouldn't allow me to select the .ini. backup file.....im am devastated......

Are you planning on doing an update or should we all just move on? I'm willing to be patient and wait of you are updating. This was my favorite calendar widget until my phone updated in Feb 2017. Now widget no longer works. Please let us all know...thank you.

Have been using this app for ages on many different phones but it's recently stopped working on my oneplus3. Will have to find another if a solution can't be found

For some reason almost every day on my phone and tablet I have to use refresh the app to get the calendar widget to change. I've tried un-install and re-install several times. It just won't work properly.

I got used to having a small calendar on my home screen to help me stay organized, but after getting a new phone the only built in calendar widget took up an entire screen. This app allowed me to keep my existing calendar, but also have a small, customizable calendar on my home screen with my other most used apps. I wish I had downloaded it sooner.

I've used this app for years and it worked brilliantly until recently. Now doesn't sync properly with Google. Half of the 2017 UK holidays are missing (eg. Easter, Christmas). Appointments are disappearing. All of this renders it rather useless. *Time for me to look for a calendar app that actually works!*

Since upgrading the s6 to android marshmallow the widget randomly shows blank screen. Until I click it and open the calender app and come out. Please update this to fix thanks.

Super widget. Used it for a long time now. But now the lines disappear every now and then. (Android 6) Opening the app and going back to home screen resolves this. Hope this can be fixed soon as this is my ultimate reminder app.

This has been my favorite calendar app until the update! Now it has disappeared from my home screen and I can't even open the app. I NEED MY CALENDAR! Please fix ASAP!

Had for years. Always moved to new phone... Now on Note 5 and it is useless. Won't even appear on screen... HELP

Used to work beautifully, no longer displays events. No config for choosing different calendar account.

I had a Galaxy Note4 with Lollipop and the app worked fine. Just got a Galaxy S7 Edge and it don't work at all. You got an update coming soon for Marshmallo? You'll get your 5 stars back if you do. I've been real satisfied with this app for a long time, I have the premium version of it. Would like to get back on board soon. Really liked it.

I use this calendar to show my Google calendar events. Google just added two do items to go on the calendar which are not showing on your app. Can the Calendar app show the Google Calendar to-do items? Otherwise I love this app.

Simple and takes up sod all memory. Only have it 3 stars years ago but this now gives me a resizable scrollable agenda calendar covering a full year on my home screen. With a flick I can check easily when my gig's, festivals, birthdays etc are on

Best Calendar Widget ever. I've been tried many similar widgets, but always come back smooth calendar. Recently I purchased premium version to save my setting file conveniently. Recommended to try!

It's worked very well for me for several years now. I like how you can customize the app and colors. It's worked well since I discovered it in 2010. It's work on all my Samsung devices, which I have multiple.

I got the thank you screen and nothing else.

after the latest update the widget often goes blank when some other app had been used. not having today's week day indicated is also a disadvantage imho.
