Noise Exposure for Android
What I think people are missing is that you need to place the phone on a table and how the decibel scale actually works. If you have 60 decibels and suddenly go to 70 it hasn't increased with roughly 18%. What's actually happend is that the sound had doubled. This is always true. 110 decibels is double 100 etc. This is because of the way sound spreads.
Would not let me listen to what I recorded. ..
Useful app, pleased with the fact that it can be used in English. Which it was possible to delete just one report from the list and just all like now.
Works well and gives a good idea of background noise level
Gives a good idea how loud your work environment may be
Snoring is 60 decibels
Rated a completely silent room at 59,8 dB...
Just the trial.... Will compare & comment.
Will continue to compare with other apps.
Awesome
Nice, nice...
Rated a completely silent room at 59,8 dB...
... and it works just fine on the Galaxy S4.
Yes haha awsome
Lättanvänd. Gör det den ska.
It's really great choice
Trevlig liten app med enkelt gränssnitt där man direkt kan se hur mycket oväsen man utsätts för.
Gives a good idea how loud your work environment may be
Great
very inaccurate, professional tool reading of 103 db versus this tool 88db
Awesome I love it
Seems to work great on Samsung Nexus.
It may not be professional accuracy (no phone sound sensors are), but it is worthwhile for comparing sound levels. Read the explanatory info on the install screen before you diss it in your review. Thanks, Sweden.
Deespite the comment that it was tested on samsung galaxy s2, results are non sense. I went to an anechoic chamber, it reads 52dB... Also i made a simple whistle not loud, and it rated 102dB. So do no trust these values at all.
Wish it supported landscape mode/tablets
Simple n easy to use
Shows an average of roughly twenty points higher than math tells me it should be. Unless I am missing something?
Only one that worked on my phone so 5 stars! galaxy epic 4g
Work just fine
