Dbt911 for Android
I'm giving this a 5 due to the legitimacy of trying to help people and being thoughtful. I'm hoping the diary card backs it's self up every day. Haven't found a free PDF reader that will see my daily scores. It just shows nothing. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for this great app, which I started just before I commenced therapy. Just recently, it was very helpful with distress tolerance. Very easy to use as well
Chock full of knowledge & well organized. I have just begun to poke around it (day 1 of use) & I def feel I can use this not only @ my job on ITU @ a children's psych center but in my own life as a person who is going to therapy. The diary is very lengthy & utilizes probably every DBT item plus other pertinent information for a therapist. You can even save them as pdfs! Just a great helpful app. Are you accepting donations? Cheers!
Useful app for sure, but there's a reproducible crash in the diary card feature that results in lost entries. Clicking a red underlined misspelled word in a text box causes the app to crash immediately for me 100% of the time. This results in a completely lost entry since there's no automatic save. I've lost a frustrating amount of lengthy, in-depth diary cards to this bug. I don't know if this is isolated to me and my device, but it's important enough that I thought you guys should know.
This app is simple and easy to journal and focus on emotions. I wish there was a flash card option that pops up quotes or self validation. That there can be custom quotes the user puts in or input a file that has a list of quotes in case the user themselves want to use others flash cards. That way they can choose only some or all without having phone storage issues.
Carlson Kerr said something on 8/7/17 about clicking on a red underlined misspelled word making the app crash. Whelp it is still happening and it is extremely frustrating! I love this app so much and there isn't a better diary card out there so please get this fixed asap.
Vital App for DBT help. Don't forget you have this beutiful tool right on your phone. Wish past diary cards were able to edit. Thank you developers for making a tool for the emotionallly dysregulated. End the stigma.
Good in every way apart from it crashes consistently when trying to enter text with more than a few words. Also if I switch app, then switch back to Dbt112, the language is wrong but is restored again once I got back to the main menu.
I love it, it really helps me keep my support organized in one place. With tons of helpful tips! Helps you understand things too. Try it out!
Like the app, good content want more customizable daily diary. Would be cool if my goals would transfer to the next day or until I complete, change. Statistics would be neat, graphs charts etc.
Diagnosed with BPD, this app is very helpful especially the diary function. It is probably the most useful app on my phone and it helped me a lot. Thank you very much
PDF on Diary card is empty when created. It makes it almost unusable for me since that is the main reason why I have the app.
This is only my first day using but already love it. The diary feature is amazing and will be very helpful for my therapy sessions. Really great app and so useful. Thank you so much.
This is awesome, has great exercises and tools for DBT skill building, reducing anxiety, and regulating your emotions.
Would love to be able to use on my kindle fire but the apk is locked and the app isn't in the amazon app store. I love it on my samsung galaxy, have had this app a long time.
The Canadian English uses American phrases, resulting in me switching it UK English Close enough, however I'd prefer it be able to set to Canadian
I love this app, but it's missing diary card skill options.
Really love the focus questions in the "in crisis" section, very effective :)
Keeps my mind on DBT and the skills.
Love this app. But with the new update, what is mani exactly?
Very helpful app. Good stuff!!
What is mani??
Great DBT app.
Love it
I agree with the reviewer who said that this app is the type of thing that deserves news coverage. This is incredibly helpful for those of us who need a best friend and cheerleader with us every step of the way. You may not have millions of downloads (yet), but please know that for the people who use it, it's a lifesaver...and greatly appreciated.
This is literally a life saver. Any tool I can put in my hand to get out of crisis, I am willing to try. DBT is the best form of therapy for me. This app has every technique and response I could need. The Diary Card is fantastically detailed. The interface is simple, which is important, as so many apps make me choose or swipe and if I'm worked up I can panic. I love that I can send my details to people. I'll keep using. Keep up the good work.
I had been struggling to practice DBT because I didn't always have a pen & paper on hand... Since I DO always have my device handy, I've improved tremendously my use of daily Diary cards. The fact that the other modules of DBT are covered... WOW! Excellent app!
2 things... it won't maintain my chosen language and I often have to reset it. And the diary card feature really needs a way to be edited or added onto after midnite or the next day if you forgot something or have insomnia and need to note some things about that. The list of previously saved diary pdf's is useless as you can't view them within the app or edit them later. I have to go to into my device files folders to view on external pdf viewer app..again no way to go back and edit them though.
Not only does this app review skills that can be used to fight negative thoughts but the diary card feature me to track my moods and see the correlation between my thoughts, feelings and behaviors. GOOD STUFF!
A free app to help others learn how to help themselves. Very cool. Sounds like fishing to me
The best free android dbt tool out there that I have used . The daily diary is well thought out and easy to use. I love that it prompts me to write my emotions and skills as otherwise I would forget. There is lots of other valuable stuff too and it is all free. Amazing.
this app has been more useful to me than therapy has, it has so many great resources and the in crisis options are incredibly useful. ive just started using the diary option but ive found it incredibly useful. One addition that would be nice though is it after you say how long you slept you could say what times you slept from and till, and have an option to do it more than once in case you napped.

I have just begun to poke around it (day 1 of use) & I def feel I can use this not only @ my job on ITU @ a children's psych center but in my own life as a person who is going to therapy. I was looking for an app like this... Because I no longer attend my treatment program.. And this has it all.. To help me!!... No matter what phone I get, I make sure I re-download this app.... Got to have it.... I recommend this app to every who struggles with anxiety and depression and other issues! Dialectical and cognitive.. Thank you and God bless
This has a lot of good stuff in it, but I can't see how I can get an overlook of the last week, or a selected timespan. That would be helpful for finding patterns...
This app is great for therapists to recommend to their clients. No more paper or forgetting diary cards. Great for people who have difficulty organising themselves.
Used with my CBT Diary, this has proven to be a helpful app. However, there are a few features missing that keeps it from being perfect. 1) Password protection. 2) The ability to back up data and restore data, such as strengthening thoughts, et. 3) The ability to upload all of the diary card PDF files to Google drive or Dropbox, all at once. I would gladly give this app five stars, if I see these features implemented.
Love how user friendly this app is. My suggestion for improvement is to have have even a small comment space after each emotion and skill in order to record any memoryevent associated with the emotion or skill.
Simple affirmations, distractions, all stop the negative process and helps to focus positively. I am happy and feeling more fulfilled and grateful every day.

A free app to help others learn how to help themselves. Very cool. Sounds like fishing to me????. In my Anonymous opinion, actions like these are what deserve news coverage, instead of, maybe, murder. Just a thought while they are still legal.
