About Screentime Ninja
Tired of telling your kids to stop playing games on their mobile and do something useful?
Screentime Ninja automagically blocks the device after a pre-set amount of time, but lets the kid earn more play time by solving math problems which are tailored to his/her school curriculum.
If the child cannot solve a problem, Screentime Ninja will show how to solve it.
Each kid has an individual profile configured by the parent. As a parent you define how much play time each kid earns by solving a problem, how much play time needs to be earned before it can be redeemed, when and for how long each kid can play on a given day.

Current features:
★ Automatically pop-up a math dialog after the playtime is up, pausing the game that was running at that moment.
★ Can get back to the game only after solving a pre-set amount of math problems.
★ Block the device before and after a specific time of day.
★ Can uninstall the app only knowing the parental password (which is set up during the app installation).
★ The app will automatically re-launch if device was shut down and restarted.
★ Math tasks: addition, subtraction. Multiplication, division and word problems are coming soon.
★ Configurable maximum amount of time spent on the device (like an ATM that only lets you withdraw up to $X each day regardless of how much you got on your account, this option sets the max amount of playtime per day, no matter how much time was earned. The earned time never expires, but can be redeemed only up to that limit every day).
- To Uninstall:
1. Go to device Settings => General Settings =>Security=>Device Administrators.
2. Uncheck Screentime Ninja. This will require your parental password. After you enter the password press “Deactivate”
3. After the above is done the app should uninstall normally:
a. Find the app in Apps Drawer (NOT the Google Play Store), long click on the app and choose/drag to “Uninstall”
b. Alternatively, find the app on Google Play Store and click uninstall.

I tried several other screen time control apps on my daughter's tablet before found Screentime Ninja, none of them actually worked. Screentime Ninja is really great! You have my 5 BIG FAT Stars! My daughter's math not as good as the others, but she doesn't want to do extra exercise after she finishes her homework, once she starts to play her tablet, it's very difficult to stop her from her game. Now with Ninja, I give her one hour free time, but she has to do a lot of math to earn more minutes.

I can't remember the parental password and have tried every possible password I might have used. This may be a bug; the password hint is "null." There's no obvious way to recover the password and without it I guess I can never uninstall this app.

You can not uninstall without deactivating yet the new update will not allow you to submit your password to deactivate. So basically the newest update renders the app and phone useless.

Seem like it doesn't unlock when the time is over and then my kidsnswer toquestions to earn time and it stays lock. It also doesn't deactivate or uninstall.

The basic idea behind this app is fun and attractive, using cute ninja girls and maths questions to motivate kids to earn more minutes. However, it is not as user-friendly as it could be. 1. Kids cannot "switch user" themselves without the parent's password. So parents cannot leave the device to more than a kid when they need to leave the children alone. 2. The profile for the first and initial child's profile cannot be edited, and all subsequently child profiles cannot be edited once it has been set. Hopefully, these functions can be addressed in a future update. Uninstalling it for now.

I just locked myself out and can't uninstall it. My kids find this most amusing - I don't. Password does not work, typo is not possible because it's 5 times the same letter. How do I get rid of this junk? UPDATE. Still ignored by the developers, considering legal advice as this renders my tab useless. Latest update: had to root my tab to get it off my device. DON'T INSTALL IT.

First it did not work unless the app was opened first each time my child got on the tablet under her account. I tried to delete the app and uninstall it would not let me. I grid to deactivate it turning it off on the child account and it turns itself back on so I am unable to deactivate

Was looking for app like this and was pleasantly surprised to find something even better than I can imagine. Thank you for making this app, really great experience. Makes both kids and parents happy! For all the users that can't uninstall the app: read the manual :) this is done in purpose so that the kids can't uninstall it.

Yep, as everyone else is saying, you cannot uninstall. The directions given in an answer to one of the reviews does no work. Uninstall button is greyed out. EDIT: The reply only adds more confusion. Please be completely specific on what steps are needed and where. Honestly, it's quite remarkable that this type of software is even allowed on Play without any warning or special permissions.
