Simple Daily Budget - v2

I've always had a hard time with budgets, mainly because it's for an entire month. I usually end up blowing through my budgets during the first half of the month, which makes my second half miserable or I just say f*** it and over spend. With this app because it breaks it down to a daily goal, it's been very easy for me to stay on target so far. Simple but useful features, especially the wishlist that helps you save for big items. Great app and highly recommend!

Pros: I personally think that a daily budget is the best approach to budgeting. There isn't another Android app that really does this. The cons: this is a glorified calculator, and it's really limited in features. I'm coming to Android from iOS, where I used an [also pretty basic] app called "Daily Budget". That app calculates a user's budget through his/her regular income, expenses, and savings. What I liked was the ability to say that, for instance, I pay $110/year for a Costco membership. In consequence, it syphons off $0.30 from my budget every day so I can afford the Costco bill when it comes around. It would keep track of every expense and income independently so that I could edit them whenever I needed to, and it would account for them. Want to use this app? Do that all externally in a spreadsheet. Would be nice if it were included. Also: It would be really nice if one could distribute extra income. I make irregular amounts on a biweekly cycle, and I like to be able to distribute each paycheck over the following two weeks, rather than having it all dumped onto the day I earn it.

I loved it first. I even paid to upgrade. But then it stopped working. My budget had changed so I changed the amount and it won't do it. I tried resetting to start again, but that won't work either. Very frustrating. I was so happy to have found such a great app. Apparently not as great as I thought. :(

I'm really enjoying using this app and I've even paid for the upgrade (the first app I've ever actually paid for!) I'm using Version 2 with no problems but I was wondering whether I should download Version 3 so I can receive any updates to the app, or maybe it's not necessary? And if I do this would I be able to transfer my data across? Cheers

It'd be nice to have the option to split the money you haven't spent one day through all the days left instead of just pushing it to the next day. To divide the money and add it to all the days left.

simple to use,and easy to manage.is there a way to seperate the money i didnt spend with the daily spending limit?because the current one is only showing the accumulation of the money i didnt spend.however i still want to keep myself strict by following the daily spending limit,not the accumulated not spend yet.thanks

Cannot export my daily budget using any of the options. For example, exporting by gmail message "Unable to attach file" appears. How this problem can be solved?

Just what I needed to simply monitor my daily spending. It will definitely help me to save money. After a week, I already couldn't do without it!

I couldn't submit my income and expenses because the keypad wouldn't go down to reveal the set budget button

I cant seem to change date on the entries. Have some historical expenses I wanted to add but wont let me. Loving the app Sam, beautiful and clean design.

It is really a great app for keeping track of your expenses on a daily basis.

Great app, updated daily allowance automatically and rollovers to next day if not used. Easy for budgeting!

I was looking for a daily budgeting app and this one looks really really good! I'm wondering into buying the full version, although I'd like to have monthly and yearly stats and I'm not sure that's actually possible (I've seen the daily average stats or the general stats since app was installed). Would be definitely a 5 stars worthing of buying if you have that possibility!

This is my favourite budgeting app - it's weirdly fun to use because it's so clean, uncluttered and quick that I quite enjoy the challenge of coming in under budget. I just wanted something straightforward to track my daily spending, and this app ticks that box. It's quick to the touch, has a clean modern UI, simple categories and statistics, and is so easy to use. The widget is perfect too - clear and to the point - I have it prominent on my home screen to keep me on track. Thank you!

Has mechanisms others didn't which are going to be really useful. Was wondering about the ability to add unexpected income and have it split across the entire time period rather than just on the day then carry over. Overall a great app so far.

It does what it is supposed to. Input your expenses and it calculates what you can spend for the rest of the day, and recalculate for the next day according to your transactions of the current day. Just perfect.

Working on a limited income, this little app is very handy. So far only using to monitor my food budget, I've managed to keep my expenses on food below £2, whilst eating well. Thanks Sam☺

Very very easy to use. Easier to use than other similar apps that I have tried.

I just got the app, but I already love it. The only thing missing is the option to add my current account status, because that definitely affects my budget a lot.
