Horrible

Calculations seems inaccurate, and it was just a few pounds out. It results are quite a bit different from other calculators and compared to what I get paid.

E70%

It now doesn't allow you to place hours in a decimal format....what's happened this used to be a great little app

Q70%
by Q####:

This app deducts pension contributions against net income BZZZZZZZ WRONG!! This should be against gross income. Ie before the application of tax deductions.

Q70%
by Q####:

You just need to add on any bonus annual and Christmas payments and over time rates and hours

Why make an app the lazy way. I ain't the smartest person, but this looks like they didn't care much when they made this waste of time app.

E70%
by E####:

It insists that my salary is £1.04 per hour no matter of what details I enter.

G70%

The pension deductions are not calculated correctly. 20% relief should be added.

G70%
by G####:

Only gripe I have is it doesn't cater for shift workers (eg hours a week rather than day) but apart from that it's perfect. Best in field by far

Q70%
by Q####:

Nice app it does the job however it will be good to see if we have an option to select the no. of 'Working weeks' as not all the contractors work 52 weeks in a year. Please update this feature. But still 5 stars from me ;) Cheers !

This is an excellent app that I've been using for a while. It's not a flashy app with all the bells and whistles because it's not meant to be. It works out the tax and NI based on basic information. If you need calculations for multiple jobs or special circumstances, this is not for you. It will work out salaries for those with student loans and use allowances for the blind, married couples and those of state pension age. If you need more, visit the website. The only downside, adverts.

Seriously, the only currency is pounds? What a joke. Honestly, I would actually pay for this app to be more inclusive. It works great, just not for anybody outside the UK.

When will 2015/16 tax year be added? I feel it should be done sooner than it has been given that it is at this time of year salary and bonus negotiations come to fruition.
