Nommé après le théologien Suisse, cette traduction de la Bible est un de plus populaire traduction dans la francophonie au milieu protestant. L’Ancien Testament a été publié en 1874 et le Nouveau en 1880.

Named after the theologian Switzerland, this translation of the Bible is a more popular translation in French-speaking Protestant community. The Old Testament was published in 1874 and New in 1880.

3. A rich vocabulary and simple for the time it was published.
