This is a sail racing app for sailing enthusiasts and professionals.
Application is used as an additional tool next to standard yacht equipment to take tactical sail decisions faster.
Sail Racer app suggest the favored end of the start line, monitors your position, time and guides the maneuvers that the start line was hit at the last moment with the best possible speed during your sail.
With the sail app it is easy to navigate in racing area. Sail Racer interface is designed in a way that course efficiency, the lay lines and shifts could be captured in a splash of a second. Skipper does not need to analyze the numbers and can concentrate on handling the boat, maximizing performance and playing tactical games with competitors.
Every wind gust and lull affect the boat heading and is visualized in a “easy to read” shift bar on the top of compass rose and on the map.

This app works well. Courses cane be entered on the Web and downloaded to the app, which is quite a good solution. I had a problem with the subscriptions: I have a current Premium subscription for which I pay around $15 per year. The app stopped working and required me to pay for a Premium subscription again - for $52 per year. I reported the problem to the author and he cancelled the second, more expensive, subscription..

Add an option for a race start countdown to a time on the phone clock, for example, start time in a pursuit race is 13:27 hours.

This app was amazing. I was telling everyone to use it last season. I come to do the first race of the season on the yacht only to find I have to pay to be able to flick between the screens! Time to change app.

This does all the things you want in a sail racing app. Enter locations of marks either at the mark via GPS location or via entering coordinates. Courses can then be created from the marks & saved to a webaccount for later retrieval via download. Countdown function with +/- sync ability. Maturing with each update.

Could you add a way to set a race count down start time? For example if the race is to start at 11:06 am you would set the count down to start automatically at 11:00 rather than having to watch the clock and hit start.

This does all the things you want in a sail racing app if you knew what course uou are going to sail before you get to the start. Quite a few clubs with multiple fleets don't put up the course flag until 5 minutes before the start. So unless you already have the course entered you will not have the time to fiddle with entering a course from saved marks. I used this for 3 races in a row by taking a guess at what course would be sailed and it was brilliant since then I haven't guessed right & its now useless.

I have been using this app for years and the worst thing about it is that it is able to be downloaded and used by other sailors. I don't want it to be used by the other sailors I compete against. It is that good. Thanks Ricardas for a great sail racing tool.
