Some of the formats include
H264 content in MP4, MKV, and TS containers (hardware decoding)
H265 (HEVC) content in MKV containers (hardware decoding)
MPEG2 content in MPG and TS containers (hardware decoding on some platforms)
AVI,FLV,WEBM formats as well

Current Limitations
No support for DVD/Bluray Discs
No Audio Pass-through for IJKPlayer

Breathed new life in my decade old sagetv server. Worked with my v4.2,5.1 & 6 android devices. The playstore version showed error. Had to download apk.

That we still have some love for this great pvr/media solution. Worked "right out of the box" can only hope for more features, perhaps working on placeshifter not on same network?

Initial setup on my nexus player had me pulling my hair out... no matter what settings i selected I couldn't get video to play... dun dun dun... uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked fine. Next problem, I couldn't get comskip to work on my recorded tv... after some troubleshooting i realized while commercial skipping was enabled on the server it didn't work via playback on the server. Once I had comskip working properly for playback there it worked on the MiniClient. At this point I'm so freaking stoked with the MiniClient. I thought i was going to have to build more HTPC's but this works great.

After setting up sagetv for remote access, I launched this app, it works fine when in the same network, but all I see in remote access is snow, with three shadows of the app, in other words, I'm seeing 3 of what should be 1, usually when PAL is mixed with NTSC.

I am a part time tour bus driver and I spend many hours of down waiting for my passengers. I love this application. Watching my local channels when out of town make the time pass quickly.

When I travel I like to watch my own local news and recorded shows from my SageTV server at home. Was doing it on my laptop now I can do it on my phone or tablet. On the LAN running on an Nvidia Shield it is topnotch and delivers beautiful video from the server.
