Storage Truth for Android
A very simple app that clearly lets you know how much used and unused storage you have. This, in combination with Android's own file app, let's me easily manage my storage space on my Nexus 6P.
Not as good as the same developer's RamTruth though it retains the same design premises (no ads, no extra permissions, simple uncluttered UI) - it does not display information about external storage on say, mounted SD cards. I suggest that the ability to drill down through the filesystem tree to see which things are eating all the space might be of use...
No fancy graphics just the data. Like it a lot.
A very useful app, which showed that my system partition was rather short of free space. Time for a memory upgrade!
Otherwise just fine
I doubt it is displaying the exact and accurate value, or at least it is not using the correct scale.
got to be the most straightforward app in the store.
Doesn't do anything, but tell me I have a device.
Thanks for this app
Displays how much space is for storing apps. Cuts through the "Firmware" block on newer devices, a settings display that hides information formerly displayed in Settings -> Sorage. /system is useful to rooted users trying to add or remove system apps. /data shows how much space is available for user apps and updates. A rule of thumb: The app will require at least three times the size of it's apk on a Dalvik device. This is an approximation.
/system: memory for system apps. This is useful to users of rooted devices. /data: memory available for user apps and updates. When a system updates the update is stored under /data. When a user app installs it is stored to /data.
A small app that shows available storage space for APPS. Look under /data to see how much space you have to install APPS. If you're curious about the other partitions install Terminal Emulator, start it, type df and press enter. You may have trouble seeing the forest for the trees.
This app tells how much space is available for Installing apps and give the user an idea of how much space they have, something newer devices will not tell. /system stores the built-in apps or system apps. This cannot be changed without rooting. /app stores all downloaded apps and all updates including updates to system apps. When an update occurs the app information is overwritten in app.
Short sweet and simple. Quick and easy and very clear! Well done. AND it copies the report to your clipboard so you can refer to it or e-mail it etc. I love that feature.
I already have that data, thanks. SD/1 would really do a treat. OS problems?
So how do I get hide of all the junk Google makes me put on the phone
Just the facts, ma'am.
Does exactly what it says, without hype or nonsense. Excellent.
Thanks for this app
I love it. It is very useful.

The truth and nothing but the truth. Plain and simple.
Straight forward. Nice. I, however, do not like the info copied every time app is launched.
But the first tube I tried to download it.... lol insufficient storage.
Good, I guess my HTC was pretty honest. But to understand a little better with ease it would be good to have a summary of what the information is.?
LOL insufficient storage
As expected
Thanks 4u
Does exactly what it says on the tin - good work boys. :)
I had NO IDEA how much storage was left in /System or /Data. Now I know! Thanks to Early and Scary for a wonderful app. I would also recommend inclusion of Ext SDCard in the next update... but great as-is. WELL DONE!
This is a great storage management aid. However, it would be MUCH more valuable (and I would give it a fifth star) if it also included detailed information on an external microSD card. I, like many other power users, keep much of my data and many of my apps on my (64 GB class 10) extSD.
Great app
There is nothing more welcome than a simple answer to a simple question. This is an elegant answer to a common question. Kudos to the both of you!
The truth and nothing but the truth. Plain and simple.
Great work SA & Emon, thumbs up!
Nice job with this, definate download for my devices
Shockingly simple. Nice work Scary and Emon
Makes it easy to see how your storage is ACTUALLY used.

That is its purpose. It is meant for that purpose only. User apps live in /data. Upgrades to system apps also live in /data. The factory versions of the system apps live live in /system. This only changed by an OTA update or with root access. Only advanced users should try root access. Note: Seems to misreport /data size on Android 4.2.2. Check against Settings -> Apps. (Samsung: Settings -> App Manager. )
