About S Planner Killer
You can disable S Planner in system settings in Android 5.0 Lollipop, this app is not needed anymore if you have Lollipop. Follow instructions in the screenshots to disable it.
If you don't have this option in system settings, get adb command from Android developer tools, plug your phone into PC, enable USB debugging in Android settings, and run this command on your PC:
adb shell pm hide com.android.calendar
If nothing helped, you can try installing this app, but this is not recommended, as it works only 50% of time.
This app will hide all notifications from Samsung S Planner calendar, so you can use another calendar app without having all your notifications duplicated.
It starts at boot, and runs in background, so you only need to launch it once, and enable it in Notification Access system dialog.
S Planner cannot be turned off in any other way without rooting in Android 4.4 or older - disabling notifications in S Planner settings will be reverted after reboot, de-selecting calendars will disable them for all your calendar apps, it cannot be turned off in Application manager, and clearing it's data won't help either.

Probably not the fault of the app/Devs, more likely to be Samsung or Android problem. The advice in the screen shots to disable obnoxious S Planner does work but only for a limited period of time when the notifications start back up again. Really wish this app still disabled S Planner permanently.

Works on my Note 2. Wished it worked on my Samsung Tab Pro as well, since it blocks Google Calendar as well.

It doesn't work on my S4 running KitKat. I still get extremely loud notifications in the middle of the night from S Planner.

I've only had it up and running for a little while, but so far has eliminated the redundant S Planner notifications and left the Google Calendar notifications intact. It's absurd that Samsung forces us to install an app for this, but thanks to pelya for making a solution available.

Bought an OEM phone with the sole purpose of avoiding bloatware like Samsung S-Planner. This app relieves some of the pain from that crapp. Cheers

Unfortunately not working on my S4 running kitkat. It's crashing the Google app and taking the notification away from that. The S Planner notification is staying. Hope it can be made to work as I HATE S Planner.

I used this app on my Samsung s4 without problems for a long time. Now it doesn't work anymore. I've uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. It keeps telling me to give it notification access, then takes me to the wrong section of settings. Notification access is not under security on my phone, is under sounds and notifications. I have given it access, but it refuses to acknowledge it. It's really getting me upset, as I really despise s planner.
