This application is for any gun owner! The purpose of this app is for the legal and conscientious concealed carry license holder to know where they cannot legally carry before getting there. A licensed permit holder or a resident of a constitutional carry state can usually legally carry their firearm in any location other than statutory "no carry" locations such as schools, gov. buildings, etc., and in businesses that are posted prohibiting firearms. This is a list of those Posted Anti-Gun businesses.
This #1-selling app of its kind (both on Google Play and iTunes) already includes over 14,000 current anti-gun locations.
Find hotels where you can’t carry before booking a trip to one. Find restaurants where you cannot carry before making dinner plans. Find stores to avoid before you step out the door. It is extremely inconvenient to not find out until you get to a location that they prohibit your second amendment rights. You have to either disarm in the parking lot (causing your vehicle to be a target for thieves) or go somewhere else at the last second. If you know beforehand, you can avoid the places that prohibit carry, or you can leave your firearm at home if you must attend.
We have a comprehensive list of "Posted anti-gun" locations collected in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin. We have assembled smaller lists in Alaska, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming; provided by many great gun forums and sites with their permission. This app includes the ability to call or email a listed business to let them know your opinion! Also has capability to add pro-gun alternatives that do not prohibit carry. Search for substitutes to the anti-gun businesses. Easily add new ones to the list every time you experience firearm-friendly service.
Laws regarding signage, and prohibited locations (no sign needed) vary by state. To understand your state’s specific laws, download "CCW" (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ryan.ccw).
This list is user-updated, and will continue to get better over time. But this relies on you! If you go to a place not on the list and they have a sign, please add it with a few clicks via the "Add a Business" button! If a place had taken down their sign, get it removed the same way! If you already have a list of anti-gun businesses in your area or state, send us an email. We would love to include any data you have collected, and give you credit for it!

I bought the app, installed it, looked around and played with it for a while. I then added a restaurant (should I say I tried to add a restaurant to the list). However it still doesn't show up. This app is a great idea, just not sure how up to date the info is and whether or not someone maintains it currently.

Here, let me pay you so I can do the foot work and enter the information for you. Plus, there's NO guarantee that what is already entered is currently accurate so you still have to check for yourself upon arrival! And that icon shown for CCW Laws? Well that's just a link to another paid app... But hey, maybe you'll earn a 'medal' along the way.

... holy cow is the interface ancient! Hasn't changed in the 2+ years I've used it. Looks like something from the mid nineties. It says 10,000 downloads which is AT LEAST ten grand, so you can certainly afford to update the UI to current Android standards or hire someone to do it and KEEP it updated whenever that standard changes. Holo Design is light years ahead of your app and it died a year and a half ago. FYI, the current standard is Material Design in case you weren't aware.

I spent the .99 cents. It don't offer much here in Carson City NV. I can't search with phone (GPS) I had to type in city and state. I am from CA. and had to go to a greater Nevada Credit union for money. There was "no firearms on premises" posted. It was not on this app. I submitted the info on to app . I will be driving to Kansas and see how this app does.

Love this app. Took a while to get the hang of it, but now I use it daily to find businesses that aren't afraid to support our 2nd Amendment rights. The ones that don't - well, they ain't got what I need anyway.

Couldnt find businesses I added due to an error on my end. Emailed help support and they were very helpful finding out what was wrong. Everything ive added went up quickly.

This app has the opportunity to be extremely helpful but as with anything in its beginning stages it requires input! More users = more input, OR the flip side is users are not taking the time to enter data. Either way only WE collectively can make this all that it can be. The developer has given us a good tool now lets make it 5 star worthy.

You can locate business that are anti 2nd amendment. I did try to add a business today and after taking the photo it would not add nor did it store the photo in the Gallery.

Per the reply to my prior review, my main gripe was misplaced, as it is user error, and I've started to correct some bad entries. I won't deduct from my rating for the user interface, which could use an update, though it is functional and doesn't detract from the usability.

Some times I can only submit via email for some reason. App needs some polishing. Not as user friendly of an interface as FriendOrFor.us but the user database is a little larger here. Not really worth $2 but it has a lot of potential. Update: someone has posted a non-friendly restaurant as friendly. The Update Business feature doesn't let you change it's status. So I assume I'm supposed to submit a request to delete it and then resubmit it under the proper category?
