About RustyFix
Simple app to put your location on the map
No need for internet connection or cellular reception. If there is an open sky over your head you can know where you are.
Your phone's GPS will only work when you request your position conserving the precious battery charge.
You can share your current location via SMS or entire location log as GPX file view e-mail (for these the appropriate connectivity is required)
Currently your coordinates can be displayed in the following formats:
- Geodetic (Latitude and Longitude) WGS84 - global, the 'native' coordinate system for GPS
- UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator) - global with the exception of polar areas
- AMG84 (Australian Map Grid) - older UTM-based grid, can also be used on AMG66 maps
- NZTM200 (New Zealand Transverse Mercator) - newer New Zealand system
- NZMG1949 (New Zealand Map Grid) - older New Zealand system
- ITM (Israel Transverse Mercator - New Israeli Grid) - coordinate system used on Israel trail marking maps
- Geodetic AGD84
- Geodetic NZGD1949
