ZArchiver Donate - a special version of ZArchiver for donating to project.

ZArchiver - is a program for archive management. It has a simple and functional interface.
ZArchiver lets you:
- Create the following archive types: 7z (7zip), zip, bzip2 (bz2), gzip (gz), XZ, tar;
- Decompres the following archive types: 7z (7zip), zip, rar, rar5, bzip2, gzip, XZ, iso, tar, arj, cab, lzh, lha, lzma, xar, tgz, tbz, Z, deb, rpm, zipx, mtz, chm, dmg, cpio, cramfs, img (fat, ntfs, ubf), wim, ecm, arc (freearc), lzip;
- View archive contents: 7z (7zip), zip, rar, rar5, bzip2, gzip, XZ, iso, tar, arj, cab, lzh, lha, lzma, xar, tgz, tbz, Z, deb, rpm, zipx, mtz, chm, dmg, cpio, cramfs, img (fat, ntfs, ubf), wim, ecm, arc (freearc), lzip;

- Edit archives: add/remove files to/from the archive (zip, 7zip, tar, apk, mtz);
- Create and decompress multi-part archives: 7z, rar(decompress only);

Notes:
File modification in the archive it is the ability to update the file in the archive after changing it in an external program. To do this: open the file from the archive, select the application (if required), edit the file, save the changes, back to ZArchiver. Will be prompted to update the file in the archive, when you return to ZArchiver. If for some reason are not prompted to update the file, the modified file can be found on the memory card in your Android/ru.zdevs.zarchiver.pro/temp/.

Definitely one of the most used tools in the box. It does pretty well on most things. Saves having to go to the terminal most of the time. It even opens my TWRP .win files. . And peeked around in a few ramdisks with it. I like that in root mode it mostly handles symlinks properly. There's still room for improvement. Sticky error messages would be better than quickly disappearing toasts. Of course the fc's on large files sometimes & the un-notified failures that slip through. but hey its a lot easier to screw up a long complex command line. Horray for Z!

Great app! Opening an encrypted 7Zip from a file manager to launch ZArchiver wants the password 3 times. Canceling a move of a directory deletes the source directory. ZArchiver Zip shows archive info Type as "zip / Store" instead of "zip / Deflate". WinZip Zipx shows archive info Type as "zip / Store". Opening a 7Zip or Zip from another file manager to ZArchiver could show a blank directory, reopening the file from the same file manager will show it. Show hidden, size, date, and LZMA2 should be default. Keep the user-selected sorting. Auto refresh for file manager, after entering passwords for another encrypted 7Zip, the creation of an encrypted filenames 7Zip the file manager can browse the files without a password only relaunching the app will disallow showing the filenames. Deleting a file from an encrypted archive doesnt, and leaves the 7Zip with a temp file extension. Folder icons with lock for 7Zip with filename encryption. Keep original file extension when archiving one file from the Compress dialogue. The file replacement dialogue box has arbitrary file times. Specify Version to unpack and Host OS. Animated gifs can choke a Zip encryption. Open file extension TBZ2, its a tar-bzip2, other compressors use that extension. "Time to Compress" metadata. For a data-only encrypted 7Zip, shows Unknown in RAR information 'Version to unpack' and 'Host OS'. ZIP stalls, one is a problem with filenames with an ! mark, the other I cannot track correctly but its a problem inherent to the file. When ZArchiver 7Z is used it can compress all files, but I found three files that 7Zip 16.04 x64 will not decompress, unrelated to the files ZArchiver ZIP will not compress, an output log for ZIP would be useful.

Generally this is s very good archiver, however I do hope that 1. when compress to 7z with password, it should also encrypt file names so people cannot see the file list inside the 7z file without correct password 2. it should have a "favorite/bookmark" feature so user can quickly jump to any previously saved folders.

Архивирует в множестве форматов, работа с файлами и самое главное что без рекламы. И, что очень важно, не требует разрешений доступа к сети, и я уверен, что мои пароли от архивов никуда не сольются (упаси господь от ведения логов с паролями). Отдельно хотелось бы функцию шифрования без сжатия(aes, twofish, threefish-1024) для быстрого шифрования больших файлов.

Best compression rates possible on android devices and rarely has errors during compression or extraction, highly recommended. Absolutely necessary for compressed CD based games used on emulators to get the most games on your SD card possible. In my opinion as a retro gamer this app is a prerequisite.

Funny how I use the phrase that's widely known from a certain fruity tech company to describe this excellent Android archive manager, but that's just how good this app is. No sneaky app permissions, clean & straightforward interface, and a great file explorer (or browser) as an added bonus; what's not to like?

Not just to best app of its kind, but also one of the best of all kinds. I live in Malaysia so I had to pay RM6.00 for this but I think it's extremely worth it. Used the free version for pretty long and decided to support the developers to even further develop this app. The best of the best and every human that has a phone should download this. The free version is perfect and the pro version is definitely better with the light and dark theme. The best!
