Programmable Calculator

Really needs labels! Names (labels) for variables would be great but names for programs is a must! Also should have smaller buttons with a second function and only 1 or 2 pages (tabs). Four page tabs makes it cumbersome to use.

UI needs improvement

I'm grateful it's programmable (in the 1980s style), but the overall interface is dissapointingly weak and not customisable. But ignore the reviewers saying it's not programmable. They clearly don't know how to use a traditional programmable calculator.

This app does what is claimed for it. However correctly programming it is tedious. The four mode keys (num, trig, func, and misc) are too small on a 10" tablet. Each of the values of pi and e appears in two of these modes. I'm sure two other useful constants or functions (e.g. INT) could have been added in place of one of each of these redundant keys. Programs are assigned names "Program #0" through "Program #9" with no means to assign them reasonable names such as "Rand(1-9)'" for the following. "misc" "PGM" "0" "C" "misc" "FIX" "not fixed" "9" "x" "misc" "rand" "+" "." "5" "=" "misc" "FIX" "0" "misc" "HALT" "misc" "FIX" "not fixed" "C" "misc" "PGM". Each of those 26 quoted strings is a single tap but woe be if an error is made in which case the whole thing must be started over since there's no way to edit a program. AND pray that you don't tap "misc" "PGM" "0" accidentally in the future because if you do you have irretrievably wiped Program #0. To run it use "misc" "RUN" "Program #0" take note of the random digit 1-9 "continue". Portrait orientation only. Not updated in over 40 months. Aside from these technical details it's a very good app thus ★★★★.

It looks as if it should be good, but I can't work out how to use the programmable feature. I just want to do repeated calculations. Is there any help or a manual?

Show me one example how to program!

I had a very simple job for a programmable calculator. I downloaded this and had my program in 5 minutes. I'd never used a programmable calculator before, so I'm impressed. I'd love to be able to use variable names (even two letter ones) and to be able to name the programs. If any more is added to this small effective program, you really should charge something for it.

Can't get on with the programming function even after the tutorials.

But not a patch on GO41CX. Could be improved by using rpn.

Poor interface

Excellent. You cannot make the graphs, but usual numerical calculations are traditionally managed and comfortable. For a mobile phone it is good to have sufficiently large buttons, not to accidentally touch a wrong button.

I usually don't bother with leaving feedback, but this is really well done. Thanks.

This application is a great and easy to use scientific calculator that deserves a lot of credit for also being free.

Exactly the programming capabilities I was looking for. And to top it, it is light weight. Two areas of improvement could be graphing capability and unit conversions
