Ringtone Keeper for Android
This worked well for me on my last few devices. No more. Galaxy S7 edge just won't keep ringtone and this won't restore them. Sad.
Kept losing my ringtones every few weeks. Not sure what causes it. Just happened again and this resored them!
Does absolutely NOTHING!!!
It didn't restore anything on my Galaxy S5, then it suddenly just worked on about the 7th try.
Make it easier to assign tones after resetting the device
It saves the backup file but fails on restore every time. "Unfortunately, Ringtone Keeper has stopped." Same thing if I reinstall or restart the phone. Also, gotta comment on that fake review of 5 stars. The user name is Google User. Can't belive the good reviews especially with the generic google user! So fake. This app probably never worked. Why waste the time?
Was great, now get error half way through a restore. Have tried several times. Appears to not work correctly on Android L .. shame.
Does not restore, even when used on the same model phone.
Does absolutely NOTHING!!!
Backed up to SD card on one phone, pushed restore on new phone, got error message. Same problem several times.
It would be better if you could schedule restores when booting, updating, or at a certain time per day. I would pay a small fee for this if needed.
Ringtone Keeper made a quick backup of the ringtones associated with my contacts and I saved the file on my external SD because I had to do a factory reset of my Droid Razr. Upon re-installation of the app, it said there was nothing to restore, so I moved the file back to the internal storage in the app's data folder. Now, when I select Restore, it just says the app has stopped working. But, it gets two stars because I opened the file in Notepad and was able to use the information to manually restore the ringtones. Bummer.
Keeps crashing. Can create the backup. Just can't restore
A perfect example of KISS philosophy. Clean, simple, and it WORKS!
на 4.0 всё пучком, а на 4.1 обнуляет файл с сохранёнными данными при восстановлении :( P.S. Снято. с 3 раза восстнаовил.
Simple, clean. Just what I was looking for.

...but if you keep trying, it usually does. Saving is always OK - try to restore immediately after a reboot. Avoid media names with special characters. Apart from these manageable bugs, the app is a huge time saver!!
