The major feature of Lunar Calendar 2016 is to calculate lunar day for any point of the Earth you want at any time you want. Of course, you can read astrological description and advices for everyday. Now it is supported two variants of lunar days: indian (new day each 12 degrees) and moon rise (new day each moon rise or new moon).
The second major feature is Moon phases: the list of Moon phases, solar eclipses, lunar eclipses. Moon phases are also shown in calendar mode.
This application helps to you to know position Moon in Zodiac, to calculate void of course moon.
The application also can calculate a lot of astronomical and astrological values. Such as sunrise, sunset, moon rises, moon set, MC and IC for both Sun and Moon.
The Moon in Zodiac is available in two variants: list and calendar mode.
Nakshatras: shows precise calculated nakshatras' list. Description for each of 27 (28) Nakshatras is available.
As for Sun, it is possible to know tattvas with subtattvas - precise time at any point of the Earth. The same for planatary hours. They are also available. The lists for tattvas and planetary hours for every day. Solar days with description are also available.

Update: 8.6.16 My phone recently updated all apps amd now my planetary hours are never right and I don't know what to do, I am at a loss because I use it every hour to do spiritual work of it doesn't get fixed I will have to move on, please help.

It has all one needs. It would be great to add an option to calculate rise and set times also for the upper margin of the disk, as for now there is only for the lower margin.

I was happy with this app, so much that i paid for the full version, but since last night when it updated another update i am unable to stop the notifications coming into my phone.. Very frustrating and annoying When i downloaded this app i was not sure about it, but it is a great app has all the information and more that you could ever need on the moon position and what the meanings of the moon cycles are. well worth getting

This app needs work. I only use it for its ability to put lunar phase and VoC updates in my notifications and for its VoC widget. I need at least the time of the next VoC moon in my notifications to plan ahead. They do give them out if you open the app but I don't want to open it. The format of their dates is weird and varies. You will see month/day/year then day/month/year. There is no setting option to pick one consistent system. I live with these limitations and don't uninstall the app but I frustrate

For those of us that plan everything with the Moon & stars in mind, this app is awesome. Having the Moon Mansion is super. Just wish it used the Tropical (28 mansions) as opposed to the Hindu Sidereal (27 mansions) and had the degrees. . Thank you ps!

A problem now.....Won't get my location & when I manually(lat&long) put it in, it keeps insisting I'm in Mt time when in fact I'm in the Pacific time zone. Extremely frustrating!!!!
