Financisto - Expense Manager

Financisto's sheer customizability is amazing. The report generation and data export options are perfect. The interface is simple and looks good, but requires some initial setup to get it to your liking. The developer could mitigate this by including a few samples, such as a default account with currency, as well as a few common categories. Once you've got the hang of it though, this app is MATCHLESS. The only thing missing is allowing backups on the SD card instead of the internal storage only.

I've been usingFinancisto for seven years now. So much features that you can do everything in it. Best finance manager. Period. I use exported csv as input in custom built xlsx for various analyses. It's sad that development has been aborted for now. Nougat android update introduced GUI glitches and app is screaming for update.

I've been using this app for almost three years, and can't find better one! No app has so many useful features (like, you know that not all apps can provide accounts that share categories, insane!) This is very powerful tool for your finance management!

I chose this app as it boasted ability to work with multiple currencies. However, even after i have it open exchange rates id, it still krupa saying no exchange rate provider selected?! I am therefore uninstalling this aap

Reoccurring every 2, schedules every 1, instead, most of the time. Tried Geeky with same problem. Monthly preview needs to show predicted balances and needs a way to jump to edit entries. Google drive backup copies the database file somewhere on Drive, can only find by a search -- the designated folder on Drive does not list the backups. Month preview does not include some reoccurring expenses. Has problem with not keeping the field entries when going to another app to look up info and while editing split categories. Deletes the entries when the phone is rotated to landscape if not saved first.

Hi there, I have tried around 10 finance managers. And I always go back to Financisto... Unbelievable! Has a big problems with reporting and overview. But.... Still the best one!

Handy tool to keep track of your funds. Once you get used to it you will find yourself using it often. Easy to make entries. Love the ability to transfer between accounts. Data will not transfer of you switch phones.

Use it to replace Pocket Quicken. The only thing missing is an option to prevent QIF export of previously imported items. Highly recommended compared to other apps available because of the ergonomics and robustness.

Best financial tracking app because it's more up-to-date than any bank account..because you enter the transactions! Studies show manually recording transactions is the best way to monitor your spending as well and stay within a budget. What this app lacks in "pretty" it makes up for with useful awesomeness. Have been using for four years now.

Best expense tracker with multiple currencies accounts with easy to use interface. I've tried many apps over the years and they uaually lacked multiple currencies support, or the interface wasn't good - with small buttons for example. One thing would be nice to have would be sms parsing function (of messages from the bank for example) and IOS support. Seperate tracking of lending/borrowing is something I've found usefull in other apps too.

Great app - fast and easy to learn. Special thanks for Splits! I've been looking ffor this feature! One thing lacking for five-stars: multi-currency accounts. Like PayPal - One account may have few different currencies at the same time. On one hand I understand it has difficulties with currencies conversion into one "total". On the other hand, Having three different PayPal, four WebMoney accounts and four AlfaBank accounts makes the front screen overloaded. May be there should be account groupping option? So that it is actually three different accounts, yet on the front screen I'd see one PayPal, click it and choose inside the one I need?

I loved this app even though it took a little more effort than other similar to apps to figure out. Still, the bulk of it was easy enough to figure out. It has the potential to keep track of every aspect of our financial life. The larger font is easy on the eyes. Unfortunately, I could not get one particular feature of the app to work: the reports by category feature (which is important to me.) I've read somewhere that uninstalling and re-installing the app often helps. I might have to try doing that.

It's possible to add a lot of details to your accounts and transactions, which is great, especially for credit cards, but the design makes this process tedious and sometimes confusing. The problem of this app's design is not only its appearance, for which I don't care much, my main concern is related to how things are arranged and how hard it is to do or view something I want.

Can't believe that I am still using it since 2013. The review of 2014 is still valid. The app is very good. But historic UI. It does the job pretty well. Flowzr has new UI, n works perfectly with it.

Loved the overall functionality, weird glitches like the widget buttons going to the Play store instead of the app keep it from perfect though.

I never write a review before. I tried almost every available app for money management. This is the only one, which works like a pro. Assets, liabilities, currency, custom exchange rates, and ease of use. So far so great

The full version is provided here for free. I highly recommend paying the optional donation. In keeping my finances tidy it certainly helped me save more than a hundred times this donation. I cannot recommend it enough to organize finances. It might be a bit more sophisticated than the needs of an absolute beginner, but it is perfect for my needs. Thank you for the developer.

Holo redesign is a day dream now. More than two years of waiting now I believe that redesigning is much complicated job hats off for the developer being brave enough to start redesigning lol

I have been using Financisto for almost 5 years and I totally recommend the app for all people who, like me, just want to keep track of their expenses and save money.

The hungarian doesn't work well... But it's a quite good app.

If I could pay from my country, I would pay for this app. perfect in any aspect except UI which is not a big deal for now. UX is good and you can easily manage everything.

Report by Category is inaccurate. Split transaction is not included in the report. Please fix this.

I would CRY if I lost access to this app!

Great app with various setting, but it would worth 5 stars if there is a balance report chart.

It has everything that other finance apps don't. Truly amazing. I would suggest adding the export feature into an excel workbook, and better trend analysis

In general it is a great app but it has some room for improvements and updates.

The UI feels archaic now.

dev- budget function has some issues- when I enter the budget amount, amount shows as negative (for example, if I said food budget as $400, budget amount shows as -$400). Also, I do not see a way to reorder budgets

Is nice to use. Easy to get used to it. Sharing of data between devices is possible via backups. There are some glitches in this process but at the end things worked out. Note, qif and csv export/import is buggy. There is another problem, after restoring from backup, scheduled transactions don't work anymore. Is there any way to fix this problem? One more thing that makes it inconvenient, It erases all fields when screen changes orientation (landscape/portrait)

I have resetted my HTC M8 (Android 6) and tried to restore from Google drive. I am getting a message saying "Unexpected error while working with Google Drive" Could you please help with that?

I was using this app since 2.5 years, I loved it. Recently I had forgot a major transaction done, and I repayed the money, after some time I got to know from this app that I've actually paid the money. So I saved a big money. Thanks a lot (to developer)
