David Herbert Lawrence (1885-1930) - one of the most popular writers of England, the first third of XX century, the author of ten novels and numerous novellas and short stories. The novel "Sons and Lovers", written in 1913, is largely autobiographical. Lawrence tells the story of two generations of the family Morel, living in a small mining town. A marriage of Gertrude and Walter happened unfortunately. Over the years, moving away from her husband, all my love to my wife gave to children. But the overbearing mother's love for them turned into a disaster...
