Stable and very accurate. Like all magnetic compass they will be affected by strong magnetic field. If your phone has a good sensor then this compass will be very accurate. This compass has a very stable movement in horizontal or verticle phone position and has a very smooth and precise movement. All it needs is a menu to change styles to be perfect.

A brilliant little compass would have willingly paid for this app,a no nonsense down to earth app and attractive -get it!

This compass is the worst I have tried. I've checked it against a regular compass and it never points to N correctly. Sometime N and S are completely reversed. I'm not near any magnetic fields when checking it against a regular compass. If you really need to use a compass, get a real one. These compass ap's never work right, they will get you lost.

No compass is working in htc one v pls fix this issue.....

Despite what others say... it DOES work. Just like all compass apps... it relies on your phones magnetic sensor. If you're near anything magnetic... it will 'seem like' this app is faulty. Believe it or not... some places, you wouldn't expect, produce magnetic fields (like my bathroom!). Besides being attractive and small (you can move it to your SD card)... the azimuth display isn't jittery like the other apps you'll find. I just wish it terminated itself when you back out of it. Kudos to the developer.

Very good compass , i think the green number on top left tells you where you are , but why does it aways point N and S in Red and Blue , use the red and blue and you can get lost easy , Why ? can i also use with my gps ?

Just a fixed compass needle- nothing more. Waste of download time.

Surely a compass should always point to North regardless of the orientation of the phone. Rotate the Arc horizontally by 90 degrees and North changes. Why? Rotate it horizontally and North changes again. Why? But worst of all, I cannot uninstall this app using the standard uninstall technique. This app is not even worth 1 star.

like the simplicity but doesn't deal with HTC desire orientation. Can be 90deg or 180deg out. As guide if you know rough north. Don't totally trust
