What are users saying about Gambit Flashcards

N70%
by N####:

I'd rate it five if only it were possible to select categories of decks into one folder to study them all together. And it would be great if you could allow us to draw on the cards for diagrams? Or insert pictures? Other than that, this app is simple and useful. Thank you so much. (Oh and to everyone complaining, stating they can't add more cards after exiting the deck, you can. Simply, long press the deck you want to add cards to and choose the second option shown next to the pencil icon.)

N70%
by N####:

It won't let you add any more to your deck after you leave the app. I wanted a flash card app because I don't have more than 10-15 minutes to study at a time. Not being able to add more cards to a particular deck defeats the purpose of me using this app.

N70%
by N####:

Its a simple and easy app to use. I like using it in landscape mode but I do wish there was an option to get rid of the top bar to make it a bit easier to read the flash cards. If you are having trouble adding more cards to a deck after exitimg you have to long select the deck and it will bring you options to add more.

N70%
by N####:

It wouldn't let me add to one of my previous decks, and then when I tried to uninstall it, the app crashed, and it cleared some of my updates that were running. Now have to re update everything

N70%
by N####:

I like the simplicity of the app but it needs one more thing. Folders so you can group your flashcards. I will give it 5 stars if you impliment that function.

N70%
by N####:

It's set up nicely and is easy to use. Super convenient you can take flashcards everywhere. It could use some more game like things if wanted but it really does well now. Also no permissions or sign-ups!

M70%
by M####:

Manually set words in categories for my child. Don't have to worry about bent or lost cards while learning. Only wish the fonts could be larger, other than that it works great.

N70%
by N####:

Don't need Leitner or any other method. Just need Function over form , no ads, easy to use . This does it. Good job Arturo

V70%
by V####:

it does exactly what I wanted. it let's me make flash cards and it doesn't need any permissions. which is great..

J70%
by J####:

I'm unable to add to a deck once I've backed out.

N70%
by N####:

Minimal and easy to use, plus it doesn't require any permissions. Only thing missing is the ability to copy/paste decks and grouping. Other than that a solid application for studying.

A70%
by A####:

Simple clear app, works fast. I would add a possibility of attaching an image to cart. Nevertheless it is great app without useless massive structure

N70%
by N####:

I love how simple and to-the-point this app is. Not to mention no ads! It works great and I would recommend it to anyone who just needs a basic flashcard app for on the go. If they add a feature to mark cards as "known" so less known cards can be drilled separately, I think it would be the best flashcard app out there.

N70%
by N####:

I use it for everything. Learning languages, etc. No ads or bs. Not complicated. Brilliant. Would love to see flash card groupings (folders, catagories) in future versions (my opinion).

Y70%
by Y####:

Very useful, no disturbing permissions (why do other apps require full network access?) Simple, easy to use. I am able to modify old cardsets with no problems. Does exactly what I need it to do... for free! Developer, thank you for this app.

N70%
by N####:

I like every thing in this app. Very simple with very cool interface. I love it! Keep up this good work

N70%
by N####:

So far I like it. Its simple and looks good unlike some other apps iv seen. Lets me copy and past the materials(thank God) and best part I dont have to make an account or anything!!!

N70%
by N####:

Cons: you can accidentally delete your deck; we should be prompted with "are you sure you want to delete" after tapping the trash can icon, also, we're not allowed to make the text smaller; there are no "settings" option.

N70%
by N####:

very simple and easy to use but still buggy sometimes. maybe it needs some update for the option when we want to add more flashcards to a deck so it'd be easier

N70%
by N####:

1. Only one line allowed 2. No image support 3. No folders

X70%
by X####:

Everything was going fine until I accidentally backed out of the app while creating my first flashcard deck. Then when I tried to just reopen the deck and to continue were I left off, I found that apparently there is no option to edit a deck once you exit the "create new deck" option. Nor is there any apparent way to add to a previously created deck. This is sad too, because otherwise it would have been perfect! Instead I will be un installing it to find something I can work with.

L70%
by L####:

Great simple flexible app you can get started with in under a minute. No registration required. No complicated strategies. Just make whatever flashcards you want and review them however you want. Back up to Google drive if you want, but you don't have to.

U70%
by U####:

Very easy to make cards and import them to different devices through Google drive. Card decks can be shuffled and it works well swiping the cards left and right. It does exactly what I need it to do.

H70%
by H####:

Could you provide a full screen option? The text are big.. Simple to switch sides.. Love the material design.. And best of all no intrusive permissions, in fact none at all.. Dope! ***EDIT: change the shuffle button to floating button for easy access or make it a corner button for easy access..

U70%
by U####:

1. Accidentally deleted the deck. There was no confirmation dialog, app just deleted one hour of my work. 2. Field for editing back side text should be larger.

H70%
by H####:

Putting too many words in one card won't work. It should automatically decrease the font when there's a lot of information being typed. Please fix

S70%
by S####:

the icon is cute, making decks takes like 2 seconds and the interface is easy and simple, plus they work with emojis! if i were to improve it i would have an edit icon that you can access while yr viewing the card. ex: viewing a card and it has a typo, theres and edit button that takes me straight to the info for that card without having to go through the entire deck, but all around i love it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

U70%
by U####:

The way it should be. I haven't seen all of what this app can do, but so far it's simple and straight to the point. And did I mention convenient? Five Stars on my initial review of it. The ability to copy or duplicate a previously created deck would be nice. Overall, I would pay for this type of simplicity. @Ron D: tap & hold a deck to edit it.

O70%
by O####:

This is a really great app except I almost can't use it for what I need it for. It only allows you to input the back of the card info in a single line. This makes it tough to input lists or say ingredients of a recipe. I've used Flashcards Plus on an iPhone and it was great for studying cocktail recipes. I was super excited to see that this app already had a protocol for backing up the cards. FCPlus just addressed that on an update before I switched to Android. It also allowed for pictures.

W70%
by W####:

Simple and good anough to make your own flashcards. Allows to modify any time your cards and boards (adding new words into existed cards)

I70%
by I####:

Out of all of the flash cards out here this has so far been the cleanest and easiest to use, the only downside is how I'm unable to paragraph words

B70%
by B####:

It's a great app but I think some more options wouldn't go amiss. For instance it would be great if u could import pictures to your cards or if each side of the cards had more than one page.

F70%
by F####:

I'm unable to add to a deck once I've backed out.

I think this app is wonderful. Rather than wasting money on paper flash cards we can install this app which is free. And all I can say is thanks*-*

U70%

Simple without any sort of annoying ads. Simply great. Next step: images.

U70%
by U####:

U70%

I would gladly pay for this app. Or options.

U70%
by U####:

You get all my stars for creating an app that requires no permissions!

U70%

Exactly what I looked for. Clean, simple design and easy to use
