About Magnetology
«Magnetology» is an application which permits one to watch the forecast of geomagnetic storms and the state of Earth´s geomagnetic field.
WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT?
Geomagnetic storms adversely affect the health of humans.
They can cause aches, dizziness, rapid heart rate, and abnormal blood pressure.
People with abnormal conditions of the blood and of the cardiovascular and autonomic nervous systems are particularly susceptible to the influence of geomagnetic storms.
The degree of magnetic storms’ influence on a particular person depends on many factors, including health status, stress, physical and emotional fatigue, natural predisposition.
Not only can geomagnetic storms have a negative impact on humans, but also on communications, navigation, and power. Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are most vulnerable to impact of geomagnetic storms.
By taking into account the forecast of geomagnetic storms, you can plan difficult decisions, avoid high physical stress, and protect yourself from negative consequences.

ABOUT THE NATURE OF THE GEOMAGNETIC STORMS
The Earth's geomagnetic field changes occur under the influence of the Sun. The intensity of the impact is not constant and depends on the ongoing processes on the solar surface.
The strength of geomatic field disturbances is characterized by the value of Kp index. The Kp index can be assigned values from 0 to 9, where 0 is the absence of disturbances and 9 represents extremely strong perturbations of the earth´s geomagnetic field.
Disturbances with a Kp index of 5 and above are called storms.
The number of geomagnetic storms per year can reach 50!

Need KP zero, especially now as we go into cosmic ray events. Would be nice to have more like CME, solar flare etx. Also break down of of the KP.

Over 3 & wife gets migraines/ seizures. Before had to go to websites to get info, now warned ahead of time allows 3/4 reduction in medication. App is extremely useful. If you know anyone with heart or head problems, track & compare to see if geomagnetic storm, proton flux..etc, is the trigger. App is 98% accurate in forecasting her migraine, other 2% is from CME. (I discovered that CA2+ ion voltage channel disruption by aluminum/ mercury acting as an conductor or "antenna")

Why is the Android app reading different (less) than the iPad version?

I am very impressed with the app. I didn't have it installed yesterday when I released my young homing pigeons, but checked with the NOAA and F factor was fine. My birds did not come home. Checked NOAA and it was up to a 4. It is rising again and my birds have not come home. I will not lose the app again.

Great app! Informs you of any geomagnetic disturbances thats harmful to our health and communications.. I laugh when these know it alls look at me like im stupid telling them this plays in our health and all communications and could take us back to the stone age with a big enough storm.. Oh well.... You cant tell a know it all anything cause they all got a handle on things... Haahaa
