It doesn't really solve the equation. It just balances it. We at times aren't sure of the product of the reaction, and solver means, it will help in solving your reaction. But it doesn't

When entering NaOH + H2S with the answer being balanced of NaS + H2OH your balancer said this was correct. The answer that it should have displayed is Na2S + 2 H2O. H2 is a positive 2 charge while OH is a negative 1 charge. The same for the Na being +1 and S being -2. For being a chemistry problem solver this should have been easily corrected by the program. This could be solved by allowing the user to push the elements or groups of elements buttons with the correct charge instead of entering a formula.
