Weather notification for Android
Worked on my Galaxy S5 but doesn't work at all on my Galaxy S7. Crashes instantly upon start up.
Lightweight, just a few megs, get a skin if you want to see the temperature in digits in the status bar. Really a great app!
Crash on opening, Nexus 6P.
Crashes, stops working constantly
No option for Fahrenheit.
Really well made app! Sadly I had to opt for Weather Underground instead since what I want is the actual temperature as the status bar icon.
I like this app for showing current temp in the notification area. Unfortunately the forecasts do not agree with local Sydney AU actual temps and forecasts. Most of the time the current temp is 2 to 5 degC out from reality reported by reliable sources.
I need the weather in F° and the current temp in the status bar instead of an icon. Then this would be the best!
Privacy invasion manual location generates bad gateway message.
Показує в статус барі сонечко. Сонечко, трясця! Я що, у вікно не бачу що сонечко? Потрібно температура, але тут нема такого
How do i update manualy ?
It's what I wanted but it's in C° and not F°
Like waaaay off. 10 degrees F and more variance from every other weather app. Otherwise good.
Only reads in metric, dumb! Deleting ths dumb app!!! Going to uninstal, they only have metric option.
I like how the icon in the status bar replaces the carrier logo (eg. AT&T).
It stalls sometimes
Celsious only.
Great app
One suggestion: Having the "Tap to configure" text in the app right next to a slider button makes it seem like its saying to tap the slider (instead of the text itself)- this is confusing when first using the app and it doesnt look like there's any way to change it from Celsius to F°. I almost uninstalled it until I saw a comment in the ratings explaining to tap the actual text to configure (obviously other people were confused about this too and couldn't figure out how to change it from C°)
Просто работает и все, безо всякой рекламы. Рекомендую!
Nope
LIKE: Very small size, low memory foot print, easy set-up. DISLIKE: Cluttered data display with partially not international wording (like Broken Clouds instead of Mostly Cloudy), some units not international, tiny almost unreadable notification icon. But worst: In my comparison of 4 weather apps, Openweathermap (the data provider) lags 1-2 h behind the actual conditions here in Singapore. SUGGESTIONS: This would have excellent potential but it's a bit raw. Take a look at 1W notification display, 4 hours forecast, use Yahoo weather data. Peter Kroll, Singapore
It's convenient to have the forecast in the notification and on the lock screen but I'm not sure if it's OpenWeatherMap but it usually shows an incorrect forecast temperature. 20°F is huge. I'll try different settings.

Showed errors while trying to get location when I traveled south of the equator. But I love the app!!

Crashes.
Junk

I give this 5 stars for the sheer amount of information it provides, its simplicity, and a feature no one else has: showing Celsius and Fahrenheit together. Skin idea is good. The built in skin should be changed to show the temp in the notification area at the top like the others, don't make the notification disappear when changing skin options, and don't give black as an option if it won't show up (stick to default colors I guess). Great job!
Keeps showing Very heavy rain almost everytime... Seems be problem of weather provider, is it possible to have another one?
All i get in notification bar is a sun. I thought the actual temp would be displayed. May uninstall if i cant get temp in notification bar
UPDATE: Working again, after setting Location to "Device Only". Exactly what I wanted. (Previous: Great until it stopped finding the source, now reports "Weather unknown")
Notification pulldown doesn't have to look dull :). Only thing I'm missing is an option to change status bar's current weather icon to current temperature icon!
Does what it says. Nice and lightweight. Suggestion: Make the background transparent, so it does not mess up the wallpaper.
Not good at all

A very minimal app. Could do with more customization options like no showing wind speed and/or humidity. I find it ok to use it without skin with standard Lollipop notification appearance.

Galaxy S5. Perfect for what I'm looking for. Displays weather on my locking screen without having to unlock it. Also displays temperature on my notification bar without having to slide down full notification screen. Displays full weather report when you do slide down the full notification screen. Simple, and easy, easy, easy. Thank you for KISS!
