Great but doesn't work with action launcher

Instructions tell you it needs a Google Reader account at start up even though it now accepts Feedly. Keeps nagging you to buy the paid version.

If you add the ability for the widget to pull article images like the reader does, it will make this app perfect for my needs.

But has several bugs / annoyances and dev has stopped working on it. :'(

The layout is simple and stylish, syncing is fast, and the swiping shortcuts for starring/marking as read are nice. Can't swipe right for next article on Nexus 5X, though. And syncing often pulls up already read articles as if they were unread. It was very good, but seems to have been abandoned.

Needs cache to SD. Cache to SD of articles should be put back and was a major point for this app.

I've tried every reader and this is the best by far. Easiest purchase decision I've made on any app. Amazing dev work to support Feedly just before Google Reader shut down. I only wish I could support dev even more. That's how much easier this app makes my life.

Update: already 5-star but I must update my review to say that JR's Dev is top notch. Feedly is now fully supported. Easy to use and configure. Does everything I want from an RSS reader. Had a bug and developer fixed it within hours! Excellent support. 5 stars all the way!

D70%

If they figure a way to stay alive and independent of Google reader and can offer some of the syncing capabilities across devices they would have my paid upgrade even if it cost triple what it cost now

D70%

Best reader I've found so far. Installed the free version on both my Samsung Note and Galaxy Tab 8.9. I hope they make it after Google shuts reader down, if not, I guess I'll have to settle for something else :( I'll gladly pay if it means they'll be around.

The best offline RSS reader. Hope it will support Feedly with Google Reader shutting down.

I'v tried several different rss readers and it's my absolutly favorite. It's has very convienient interface, nice themas, it fluently works offline, has huge amount of sync and ui settings and etc. However I'd prefer theoldreader to BazQux and Feedly, It's my only complaint.

Lots of customization options. However, when I press the filter to hide read articles, nothing happens. Tried on 3 devices, didn't work on any.

I don't like the offer to get the pro version free if I rate the app 5 stars. It ain't worth it due to a couple of issues: 1. No visual clue anything is happening when following an external link. 2. No visual clue for starred items in the feed list. 3. Can't open an item and let it download in the background while reading the next item.

It was perfect until the last update but now its consuming almost 3-4mb of data per refresh . If the number of feed is 500 or 5000 its data consumption is consistently the same.. also after the update it lost all the previous feeds that was present in the feed list and now its showing the list synchronized from the date when it was updated ie, August 11 as i was using the pro version i am totally disappointed with its performance..
