Первый в России ПОЛЕВОЙ определитель и атлас-энциклопедия дикорастущих ягод и других сочных плодов, с помощью которого можно ОПРЕДЕЛИТЬ видовое название неизвестного растения по внешнему виду его плодов и самого растения прямо в природе.

Описаны наиболее распространенные (часто встречающиеся) дикорастущие и дичающие древесные и травянистые растения, имеющие сочные и хорошо заметные (крупные) плоды. Для каждого вида приведены фотографии общего вида растения со зрелыми плодами в природном окружении, описание происхождения названий, описания внешнего вида растения и его плодов, распространения (ареала), мест произрастания, химического состава, пищевых и лекарственных свойств, хозяйственного использования, применения в народной медицине, выращивания. Для пищевых и лекарственных растений приводятся рецепты приготовления варений, напитков, настоек и лекарственных препаратов.

Определение плодов и самих растений ведется по внешним признакам – окраске, форме, размеру и типу плодов и соплодий, форме роста и размерам растения, типу листьев и листорасположению, периоду созревания, вкусу плодов и характерным (уникальным) признакам.

Выделены съедобные и несъедобные, пищевые, лекарственные и ядовитые растения, описана роль каждого из них в жизни человека – в его хозяйственной деятельности, кулинарии, медицине.

Приложение включает в себя три составные части: 1) определитель плодов по внешним признакам, 2) атлас-энциклопедия, 3) учебник (справочник) по морфологии растений (побегов, листьев, цветков и плодов).
- ОПРЕДЕЛИТЕЛЬ
Определителем пользоваться сможет даже неспециалист – достаточно увидеть и внимательно рассмотреть плод растения или само растение, даже если в данный момент у него отсутствуют плоды. В определителе нужно выбирать подходящие для вашего объекта особенности (внешние черты). С каждым выбранным ответом число видов будет уменьшаться, пока не придет к одному-двум.
- АТЛАС-ЭНЦИКЛОПЕДИЯ
В атласе-энциклопедии можно посмотреть изображение растения с плодами и прочитать развернутую информацию о нем: внешний вид растения и его плодов, его распространение (ареал), места произрастания (местообитания), химический состав растения и его плодов, пищевые и лекарственные свойства, хозяйственное использование, особенности выращивания, рецепты приготовления.
