SCP Foundation EN On/Offline

I like the app. It's very convenient for keeping track of the ones you've read and want to read. I can overlook the constant ads everywhere, I get that. But why is the removal of ads on a subscription basis? Seems silly. You should probably edit the subscription text too, since there's no longer a limit for the favorites. Also, I have a bug where the name of SCPs won't show up on my favorites list. Good app for an avid SCP reader, could be better

I don't know why everyone is complaining about the ads. If you want free, use your browser. Ads pay for the maintenance and upkeep of the app itself. The subscription replaces the ads (like in any other app) the developers are giving you a service (all the files we love in an easily accessible app plus offline storage) and you generally do pay for it when someone does a service. Suck it up, great app

Idk what happened but there are ads absolutely everywhere now. Every screen has them including the SCP files. Cant get immersed when I have an ad playing videos at the bottom of the screen. Finding a new SCP app now as this one just looks like spam now. Edit. Let me just "subscribe" per month to a free wiki. Found better apps that were ad free.

Love this app, it updates me on all new articles, I can bookmark/favorite/check off articles I've read, it's even got a pretty gallery for some pictures. If you're looking for a nice app to read articles on, you've found it here. The only issue I've had is [DATA EXPUNGED] but other than that, I'm still mentally stable.

I love everything about this. It has all the stories right there for you, without the messiness of a browser. My only question is about the "Offline Articles" bit. Is there a way to get articles offline or is it like a subscription type thing?

Insane subscription prices are a no. You don't get to set prices like that for community made content. I've seen subscription fees to online magazines, courses and curated specially content that were cheaper than this rip-off. The developer calls this "the cost of service", but in truth, it's only there to squeeze out as many dollars out of people as possible. Also, stealing icon art is totally fine according to this dev. Avoid this developer like the plauge.

This is the best app I've seen that lets you read SCP articles on your phone. The only bad parts are removing ads requires a subscription rather than a one-time payment, some text is mistakenly considered a hyperlink or squashed together, and file links don't work.

I would totally pay for the app if it was a one time thing. The author of the app is profiteering off stories that are available for free. Not even most original apps are subscription based. Make it a one time deal and your app will soar in popularity. I have paid for may apps before but not when my payment will expire. When I buy a phone or clothing I don't want to keep renewing payment for it just to use it for an extended time. I want to pay it upfront and enjoy it. Maybe you can add that option.

After using for a while if find it stupid that you have to pay to bookmark the scp why? You should make that free all it does is restrict the user

Like a lot of people here have said, there are a lot of ads, so many that I know they are only there to annoy you and get you to buy the full version, which is fine, this is actually a really good app. I would have no problem paying $5 for it, but having to pay a subscription to remove ads it just bullshit, this isn't world of warcraft. What could have been a great app and made the devs quite a bit of money is instead ruined by a greedy cash grab

Love all the features of this SCP reader, but the strike-throughs are mysteriously absent. This makes reading confusing when they should be there, as I have to try and figure out what was "edited."

$2.21 a month to get rid of ads, have favorites, and, I'll assume since they don't say specifically, download onto my phone? Or $21.20 a year??? I wouldn't spend that much on ANY APP. Let alone an app that makes going to a website slightly easier. And if the dev needs $2.21 a month so bad his wife is yelling at him, maybe he needs to get a real job and not expect stupid people to pay him for other people's work. I can tell you if I was the SCP foundation website owner I'd be suing you for the use of my logo. Artistic property does belong to somebody. And I'm sure it's not you.

I am confused about the offline mode. Does it allow you to read on the go? Or do you just save certain scp?

This app is great for reading the Secure Contain Protect articles. The advertisements are a fair trade for the quality of the app. Overall, great. Note: To much [Data Expunged]

One of the many trash SCP apps. Search function doesn't work, app regularly displays blank screens instead of content, doesn't properly record viewed article history, unable to view article portals and series more than once before they permanently disappear from the database, crashes every single time I use it. If I could rate 0 I would. Not worth the giant download, just use the website.

Ads everywhere, images don't always load, offline loading doesn't work. Better off just going to the site on a browser.

I don't think it's right that you have to pay for this app it's bull crap.

The Foundation has created a great app for viewing the site. Only recommendation would be a list of readings on Youtube for each SCP.

Some SCP pictures are really creepy so if you add a disable image setting I'll rate 5 stars.

I understand you would want to make money off this but I wouldn't pay money just to view a website I could view for free online :(

Only thing it really misses is a random button. Either that or I just haven't found it.

App suddenly has ads everywhere. Only option to disable is a MONTHLY FEE, yeah right. Paying for an ad-free pro version is fine, but a subscription goes too far. Steer clear of this one.

I've been wondering about if this question will make people laugh at me but is the SCP foundation a real place. This question is going to drive me insane if I don't get a answer

Sorry for the one star, but for some reason it crashes on startup, specifically when I'm online. When offline it opens up but there isn't anything in it. Tried re-installing 3 times now and restarting. Any idea what's wrong?

Great for reading! I have always had trouble keeping track of what I have read and what my favorites are in other apps. This is perfect!

Love reading scps and the app worked great for the first 5 scps. then lost connection for no reason and never worked again.

It misses a lot of things but assuming that u have done your best i give it a thumbs up it misses a class indicator.

Unfriendly UI, no indication of an article being downloaded offline anywhere

Nice app with quite a few extra functions, but i find it ridiculous that you can't move it to the SD memory given the permissions it asks for and the fact that the downloaded pages require quite a bit of space.

Good app. Lots of adverts tho. Also why a subscription? Could we have a random button as I never know where to start.

I love your app so much but if it could sync favourites and read articles across multiple devices using google account it would be 100% better

Best thing ever my friend also likes SCP but he doesn't like that SCP-001is not allowed so see it's file but I u understand that cuz they don't want citizens to know but besides that it's MLG and AWESOM(^^)

It's good but I don't like having to subscribe to have unlimited offline access

Best way to read scp on mobile, I wasted so much time in the past trying to navigate the full page on my mobile

I want to like this app, but it switches my screen back to itself when I'm playing a game. Normally, this would be fine, but it also displays an ad.
