Free Universal Tuner

Really like this app. The meter is easy to read, it has an optional ding when you are on the note. It also has a level indicator for background noise with a warning if there is too much. At top of selection list are the most frequent tunings that you use. There are tunings for an astounding number instuments and, important for me, alternate tunings.

A winner. Fast, clean, reliable and no excessive permissions or ads. Perhaps the very comprehensive list of instruments could be easier to navigate (multilevel menu, more than 4 most recently used?) but this is a nitpick. Great app, thank you!

Chromatic mode crashes the entire app on my HTC M7 (Verizon 4G LTE model). No e flat (slack tuning), and can't use chromatic, so I guess I'm boned lol. Would pay $ for working chromatic or Eb tuning.

Awesome guitar tuner. Very easy to use. Even works with a little background noise. I like how you can tap on a string/note and it soft locks on that string. This helps in noisy environments and when the string is way out of tune.

A very easy 5 star! No ads, great functionality for a huge range of string instruments, easy and visually pleasing user interface. Works beautifully. Would have happily paid a bit for this so big kudos to the developer for their philanthropic contribution to the app store!

Trying to select the 5 strings bass mode, the app simply shuts down. No error message or something whatever to send to the developer. Sad

This is the first tuner app I've found that does not make me want to smash either my phone, or my guitar into a hundred million pieces. Its feedback is immediate, there's no godforsaken f***ing needle that gets stuck forcing you to strum the same string 500x waiting for a response. Thank you, forever.

I chose this App over others because I need 3 different tuning set-ups: guitar, concert ukulele and baritone ukulele. Please let me know how to SAVE my tunings as favourites so that I don't have to scroll through the list of instruments.

Now that favorite instruments have been added I can give this app a 5 star review! Was hard times looking for violin in the long list of instruments available.

I tried many tuning apps but this app really is stunning in terms of visually showing you how well well-tuned your instrument is Plus for the violin it really is greatly reducing my tuning time which allows me to do more practice

This tuner works great on my new Yamaha TBRX174 Bass. No amplifier needed. Tuned Bass to perfect pitch once I learned how to use it. No nagging ads makes this app an absolute must have if you have a smartphone. To the developer, great job! And by the way my phone is a LG Stylo2 Plus.

I tested them all, with instruments and voice, this one is the best, and it doesn't even have ads, at least I didn't see any. I wish there would be an option for a smoother, less sensitive needle, but I am happy overall. Good job! (Please add Flute)

Precision tuner suitable even for piano tuning. Microphone of my mobile phone is not good enough to catch lowest and highest keys but that is not fault of the app.

Great app, does what is expected without any ads. Could you add custom tuning though? Couldn't find standard D on the list for example.

Add harp and lyre support please. I can use this application to mostly manually tune my kinnor (Biblical lyre/harp,) but it would be nice to have a setting specifically for it.

Precise app. With its interface, I can even see and check the quality difference between various instruments. And I liked how it's designed minimalistic but with every essential information one would need from a tuner. Great job! ????????

This requires a camera to capture a screenshot, so you have a little time to read the pitch, which appears for a split second. I found this app profoundly myopic.

It does what you expect for free and without ads. Great! For me it crashes when detecting lower notes in chromatic mode

As a beginner cello player it has greatly helped me tuning the instrument and checking if I am right when playing the notes

It reads fast and it tells me when I got it right I didn't even plug in my electric guitar I just set my phone on and tuned it

I need a Ukelele banjo and this seems a little out of my league

I really like this tuner and would like it more if it had the 2 tunings for my favorite instrument the dobro guitar. I have to use it in chromatic mode.

Helpful for when you're really off pitch, it shows you where the current note is on the entire scale, not just if you are flat or sharp.
