This book contains cartoons of the USSR from 1913 to 1942. From one of the country's first animated pictures of famous Vladislav Starevich up campaign posters of the war years, from adaptations of Russian folk tales and works of local writers (Krylov, Pushkin, Gogol, Chukovsky) to the transferred on-screen stories of foreign creators (Hauff, Perrault, Kipling).

Everyone will find something for the soul and will be able to trace the history of the formation of domestic animation.
