Pebble Endomondo (Unofficial) for Android
Screen froze on start message.
Randomly starts and stops. Nice try but still needs work to be reliable. Also, please add "miles" as an option instead of just yards.
A little basic and obviously uses a 'hack around' with the notification to make it work but since there is still no official app, this is pretty good. Only real problem is that the pause and resume doesn't seem to work, but I rarely need that. Gives me all the info I need (including heart rate from my bluetooth HRM) and seems pretty reliable. I've used it for cycling to work (about 20 mins each way), a few 30 minute runs, and two hours of badminton. Stayed working the whole time. It does seems to display weird stuff when I close Endomondo but I just press back to my watch face and it's fine
Just grabs the info from the notification bar - which only shows when the app is not active on the phone which is a bit of a problem. Is OK if you want to use it INSTEAD of displaying on your phone. Be nice if I could use it to compliment the app with additional information.
Would love to be able to choose what is displayed though. Did drop at one point but hooked right back up on its own. There is a spelling error in the error message about the screen (spelled sreen)
Works every time... as long as I don't get too many notifications on my phone - then it stops working
Falls out every time on my Nexus 5. Works for half an hour or so, then the watch app stops.
Sometimes stops midrun, but comes back eventually after restarting the app. Doesn't affect the phone app. Looks good and is fine until the official app arrives. No guarantee that will be better, though.
It's a pitty that it crashes the pebble so often, doing it reboots. If not, all the time pebble says that now is connected, when the phone is at less than a meter from the smartwatch... When they solve this issues it will be a must have app for pebble + endomondo owners.
It is a shame that it stops working quite frequently. Once a 60min run is just too much. Still I like it when it runs.
Occasionally the link to the phone falls over. On those occasions running the watch app sometimes reconnects and sometimes not.
After some updates this app is now working better and as advertised.
Never works unreliable and extremely buggy. Don't install it
I have had this app for a few months and expierenced some of the issues of the connection failing or the watch app not showing data. Ever since the new release the app has been working flawlessly. Great update..thanks. Not one error or disconnection in 2 weeks of daily use. Thanks for fixing everything. Great app..we don't need an official one :-)
Took it for a ride. Can't pause the work out. Need to take my phone out to do it.
Doesn't work for me at all
Worked first... Amazing. Showed me everything I needed. Second time, it stopped half way through then wouldn't show me anything again. Good though... Will try again tomorrow
This is a great option until Endomondo supports Android Pebbles. Sometimes just plain doesn't work, but that was only once out of 10 times I used it. Can't change what Pebble shows through the app, which almost makes it useless, but it shows just enough to make it worth keeping for now!
...except turn on some annoying Talkback thing on my phone. Really great to have that going on in the office!
This app looks like it has potential until there's official support from Endomondo on Pebble. I would just like it to work. There aren't any instructions on how it should or is supposed to work/sync. I tried it with both the free & pro version of the Endomondo app and wasn't able to get it to do anything. Right now it just sits on the start workout screen & doesn't even show battery life. Will definitely improve my score once I can get it working.
I use Samsung note 3
