The app lets you quickly view various events from your phone's address book birthdays, anniversaries, other) as well as reminding you of the upcoming ones.
When browsing the list of events, you have the following options:
•Hiding events you don't want to see.
•Choose entries to be displayed first (nearest next event, first event of the year, month, or all of the previous month's events).
•Choose the way contact names are displayed (First Name first, Surname first).
•View all contacts, including the ones without any events.
•Open the contact for the selected event (for editing the event, composing a TXT, calling).
•Edit events directly in the app.
•Choosing types of events to be displayed (birthdays, anniversaries, other).
•Show the number of days to (or since) the event.
•Choose date format.
•Open the nearest event.
•Highlight hidden events or events that have already occurred.
To remind you of the upcoming events you can use the widget and/or notifications. Reminders can be set up to: ignore hidden events, show notifications a number of days before the event, notify with sound, etc.
App takes up very little space.

I have used this app over about the last 6 android devices and have been very happy with it, never missing a birthday. Tonight I finally decided to debug why both my tablet and new phone were so slow and klunky. Safe mode proved this app was the cause and uninstalling it on both devices has caused a massive improvement in performance. I don't need a new tablet after all! :)

No search option. with search option it could have been batter. and needs backup option. with this both function i can give 5 star. now 5 - 2 = 3 star. but quite helpful. Can add calender view.

Unless I tap the widget regularly, I don't see notifications of upcoming events. Works on my CM 10.2 phone, not my 4.4.x tablet.

In one of the most frustrating thing about Android is that the calendar doesn't shows the contacts birthdays. This app solves that somewhat with good notification system and lightweight functioning.

The good thing about this app is the small size and a feature of hiding notifications for any contact. This is the only (AFAIK) program that can hide unwanted notifications. The app doesn't have a nice look. The last update - 31 Oct 2011.

Continues to sort by name not date. Doesn't provide notifications. Have missed birthdays. Doesn't seem to pull in facebook birthdays as well as those in the contacts list

I searched for different birthday reminder app. Also used sime apps for few days.. But this on is just the best and simple with occupying less memory in your phone.

Só achou 2 contatos no meu phone. Dang. Sei lá, fora isso só apareceu "Adicionar contato" mas desde digitar o número e o nome. Esquisito. Deletei. Atenção, minha amiga disse que no android dela, o calendário que veio no aparelho já possui a função "Aniversário, com lembrador".
