Daily Stoic

Really like the app, but the best part is the daily notifications and it seems quite random as to whether it shows up or not. When it shows up, it doesn't update every day.

This app does exactly what it claims. And it does it well. I wouldnt mind seeing some more innovation from the team :)

I love the content but it could be more sleek in its design. However, I downloaded it for its content not its sex appeal, so it's all good.

The randomizer doesn't eliminate quotes that have already been seen. Other than that it's okay.

Short meaningless quotes, with the option to hear it in a mechanical voice or see a multitude of random quotes. No citations, no bullshit.

It's great but... Do I have to have the app open in the Recents tray for the "daily notification" to work properly? (Once I "open" the app it'll immediately post a quote in my notification pulldown, but won't do it two days in a row). And that quote in the pulldown and the one in the actual app don't coordinate in anyway (So how could I ever save a quote from from my pulldown notification as a favorite?).They could tighten the programming up a little.

Fortunately Stoic wisdom is timeless. A valuable tool for any person who needs a daily dose of reality and inspiration. A good mix of Stoic philosophers are quoted and each quote stands as a beacon of reflexion on its own. As an app it lacks imagination and it is a bit bland. The read back function is clunky and too fast. Some historical context would add value.

Love the Stoic's, glad this app found me!!!! The only thing i would want to add is more quotes. I could get lost in this stuff for hours :)
