About UberSync
Synchronize profile pictures for your Facebook friends on Android.
To configure, add the account or check status, go to "Settings => Accounts".
Depending on how many friends you have, the first import might take a while, so be patient.
***IMPORTANT***
Starting with Facebook API v2.0, the friend list returned by Facebook includes ONLY users that authorized this app.
That means it will only sync users that also use this app or if they manually authorized this app to read it's profile.
If you want to sync the pictures of people who did not (and most didn't), the only way is to ask them to authorize it.
You can share them this link (https://contact-sync.weednet.ro) or to use the Invite button from the app.

For those of you finding out that this app "doesn't work anymore" bring your low rating to Facebook, because they now require permission from friends for their public information for this app to sync it. There is nothing the developer of this app can do.

What? You have to send a permission request to every FB friend to ask them to authorize a 3rd party app to grab their public info?!? Hmmm... Instead let me call them on Sunday morning and tell them I'm giving their cell # to every telemarketer who calls me. Won't be my friend for long. You may have gotten the shaft by FB on this, but you should add that in your app description. Shame. ***Please remove my information - I have uninstalled***

Ask friends for permission? That's stupid. I'm not going to invade all my friends to allow permission for this app. I'll either deal with them having a silhouett as a picture or steal their profile picture and save it to my phone....uninstalling!

Your friends have to link the app for it to download their pictures from Facebook. So they have to authorize it for you to see their pics on your contacts.

This was a pretty cool app until Facebook changed their API in a such a way that this app requires all my Facebook friends to install it. I might as well use the actual Facebook app at that point.
