Slashdot Front Page for Android
No longer supported. Slashdot changed things, so the actual editorial never appears. As such, the developer hasn't updated the app in years, so I'm going to another one.
No longer supported. Hasn't been updated in years and has many incompatibilities with the way the website does things now.
No longer pulling in content from article summaries. So a bit useless until fixed
Seems to have been abandoned by the dev and no longer displays article summaries. Pretty useless at the moment, sadly. Will gladly give more stars if ever it is updated.
Just shows headlines summaries stopped working and have been down for a long time.
I'm having problems now where it's not displaying the story summary.
Loved the app, but I can't read the articles anymore on my Note 4. I only get the author and the title without the meat of the article.
Looks really bad on the Nexus 7
Great simple app
Very good Slashdot reader.
Simple and useful
I use this app regularly. It does what was promised quickly. Recently added embedded links raised this app from 3 to 5 stars!
Doesn't display on galaxy nexus.
Please upgrade screen size for Galaxy Note
Stopped working lastnight on multiple phones. Slashdot website works, but app just sits there "loading"...
I would like to be able to see older stories. Also comments. Good program.
Works fine but I am uninstalling because I prefer viewing slashdot in the browser, where I can see links and from-the-*-dept text.
Nice simple interface, would be better if you could log in and read comments.
Nice, simple. Could have better cache (open and have articles from before + background loading of new articles).. and option to load old articles.
Love the simple black interface. Would love to see the comments in article... that's why I go to the site. Please incorporated the load more articles.
Nice app. Thanks for adding refresh.
Great for quickly checking on Slashdot - has full articles, not just the headline.
Works well. I'd love comments but I know that's much more work! I suppose even just reading comments would be great. Otherwise the app is great!
Awesome. I love that I can read everything with no ads getting in the way.
Plain. Simple. Works. Awesome.
Exactly what I want. Simple. Easy to navigate. Works perfectly.
This is a nice simple app. The only problem is that it often doesn't load or loads article titles incorrectly, as numbers. Usually ask you have to do is reload the app.
Pretty decent app. I like the white on black theme. Makes nighttime reading easier. My only criticism would be that it has to reload the sumaries if you switch from portrait to landscape mode or vice versa.
On Galaxy S, lost the option to read and comment in a mobile (screen sized) UI instead of the browser. Now pretty much unusable. All previous versions worked better. Will try restorong old out of date backed up version.
Now only the titles are displayed and no content (Galaxy S 4G). Will re-review if/when that gets fixed. Feature requests: staring, sharing, user comments. -TIP: --Slashdot Reader by SAK+ has sharing and user comments --Slashdot Headlines by FEEDGOAL has sharing and staring
As of today it stopped showing headlines for articles and only shows a "+" sign. The articles still load. Stock Galaxy S3.
I have /. on my fb feed, but regularly find the link doesn't go through. This has the same feed so it's exactly what I wanted.
Nice update, I really like the links added! Moto Droid Cyanogen
But it doesn't go fullscreen on Droid bionic :(
This app is perfect. I prefer reading Slashdot on this app over going to the site even on my desktop. Had it for a few months now and never had any problems with it. Simple, solid app
after a design change in /. article layout instead of the title is only a + sign. review your code and please update the app
Bad. Badly designed.
You can only see 3/4 of the screen.
Works great on phones though.

App no longer works properly, has rendering issues and no longer shows full articles. App hasn't updated since 2011. Used to be 4 stars from me once upon a time!
