Vocabulary3 for Android
The application would run on tablets as well as phones. The application runs off-line, does not need internet connectivity to function. One can attempt same test as often as one chooses. Old records of answers given are obviously overwritten.
One can review the answers anytime after giving a test. One would then see for the selected test the list of all questions with correct answers and answers given. Selecting any question word gives detailed exposition on that word - the meaning, example sentence, word origin and words from the same root with meanings if it is considered of interest.
The application is expected to be very useful to those who wish to build vocabulary for competitive examinations like GRE, CAT, MAT, CMAT, NMAT, SNAP; also to those who wish to improve word power for improved professional communication.
While the application is organized as a set of vocabulary tests, the focus is on helping one learn new words. One is urged to look at word exposition even when answer given is correct.
There is an accompanying free demo version of application named 'VocabularyDemo.'
