Moon Watcher

Moon Watcher is designed in favorable balance of functionality and simplicity while eliminating need for network or GPS permissions for which reason location parameters are entered manually.

Moon Watcher computes rise, set and transit times as well as ephemeris data for the moon and shows the phase in the form of a beautifully rendered 3D globe which can be rotated freely in Explorer mode.

In real-time mode the application updates every 5 seconds. Time can be shifted forth and back in 1 hour or 1 day intervals. Use buttons for hour intervals and swipe over the moon for day intervals.

Moon phase display embraces both, the northern and the southern hemisphere.

This software is NOT intended for military, religion, astrology, horoscopes, superstition, etc. DO NOT RELY ON THIS SOFTWARE DURING CRITICAL SITUATIONS.

Use of this application provides basic knowledge of astronomy. Before you rate 1 star and describe the app as junk: the moon won't show up at New Moon!
