About Recent Contacts
This is a light-weight app that attempts to list your contacts in reverse chronological order**, putting the most recently added contacts at the top. This is useful for when you forget the name of someone you have recently met. It also can be used as a "to contact" list, to remind you to follow up with people you've recently met, whether they are business contacts or friends.
The app also has a "purge" mode, which allows you to delete contacts with one touch (by-passing the confirmation dialog). This is good for quickly and efficiently clean out old and useless contacts out of your phone book
** The built-in Contacts (phone book) app for android does not record a time stamp at the time you add a new contact to your phone, for this reason, there is no way to TRULY sort contacts in the order they were added. But each contact has an ID number that increments with each added contact and in a perfect world, sorting the contact by the id number effectively sorts it by the order they were added. But in reality, sometimes the ID numbers get out of whack, usually due to merging or migrating your contacts from one device to another. For this reason, sometimes you will notice some old contacts will show up at the top. This is not a bug, just a limitation of the Android system (iOS has the same issue).
This is why the built in Contacts app for Android and iOS don't offer this feature.

WOW WHOSOEVER CREATED THIS APP IS A GENIUS!!! I MEET ABOUT 20 NEW PEOPLE EVERYDAY & BEING ON A RUSH SOMETIMES I FORGET TO ADD DETAILS, LIKE ie: name+ date Feb 1st 2017, Location, etc but sometimes I just write the name and meet someone else right away and forget to update details on the spot, but this app puts people by recent contact order!AWESOME! this IS A GREAT APP WELL DONE CHAMPIONS !!!

Its great when it works but thats only 50% of the time for me.I'd go out & get numbers, & later that night or the next day they wouldnt be in the list,instead old numbers are still at the top even followed by numbers added less recently.I even have numbers stuck at the top of my list thats 4 years old that wont go away. And it sucks cause by the time i go too verify if the the contact "made the list" I've forgot the persons name or something and that contact is lost in a sea of contacts. Help plz!

I remember the last contact I added. This didn't display it anywhere in sight. Instead, it displayed ancient contacts at the top even when I tweaked the settings.

Today I entered the number of class mates but did not remember most of their names. However, by using this App, I did find them grouped numerically. Please note even though they were the most recent contacts entered they were NOT at the top. This was WARNED by the developer and is NOT a bug. For me, by scrolling I did find my contacts. It is a pity that contact's entry is not time stamped, this could have been due to memory constraints. To the developer, brilliant app thanks and good luck...Shiva
