Amusing idea. How about using a camera and the tilt of the camera for less destructive method of measurement?

I did it like 6 times and it did not work at all good idea though

i dropped it 10cm and it told me it was 3541cm off the ground whut.

Very impressive, tested with a ruler and it was accurate to within 2-3 cm, not sure i would have a use but clever use of accelerometer

While making this app,I think developer had a mind for nokia 1100 that's why he made this crap. But hello this ain't your crap bar phone,to drop it and it will be safe. You should thank to god that google doesn't allow 0 star. So stop making this kind of app.

Pretty accurate on droid4 and rezound. Useful to test accelerometer is working.
