Spectral Audio Analyzer

Nice app and its useful to people who works in "audio fields". I did an experiment with it and made a video. Elite: Dangerous the Commanders UP Audio waves from speakers. Type this in youtube. Skip the video to 3:48 to watch the experiment.

Malware. This application use over eight gb on wifi and over two on cellular. After i uninstalled it i start getting calls form other countries claiming to be Microsoft or Norton. Install at your own peril

Waste of time and nag screen. Spectroid outperforms this app right out of the box.

This is epic, you can see in real time how your voice (singing, whistling) "looks" - frequency wise, and also any other sound inputs. Helps with understanding harmonics and basic muscal stuff, it's much clearer if you can SHOW to people in real time, with examples, how a musical instrument or voice sound is actually several different compound frequencies, and how there's harmonic rules between them. Very fun to play with, am looking for something like this on the PC, to be able to make videos with it :)

Doesn't work at all: no visuals produced... The start/stop buttons respond to clicks, but the app doesn't do anything. Pixel 1.

This app was one of my favorites and I've used it for years but it doesn't seem to work any more. The spectrogram is just blank on my Nexus 5X (Android 8.1).

Good. Sensitive. Helps me visualize and show ppl when electronic harassment is zapping me..

I used to use the pro version and it worked great, but now neither will work on my Pixel running Oreo. I don't know if the problem is the OS, the phone, or the current app version. It just will not display any graph at all.

Crashes on startup on my Lenovo K5. Too bad because I've tried this app and it does it's job.

It's ok... Not too great... but pretty functional for a simple package.

App was not updated since 2011 and it shows its age: bulky UI that cannot adapt to portrait mode plus there are other apps around that show a better waterfall spectrum for free, with a large frequency band, high sampling rates of 96KHz, variable decimation rates and/or FFT windows. Don't bother with this one.

Removed.. Runs for a about 5 seconds then crashes

The biggest thing that would make this app complete would be the ability to upload a picture and generate a sound for it. No other app in the store has this capability or does it well. Any plans to do so?

However only the colorized version is free. Preview images should not show the nonfree options. Only does 8 kHz sampling, too.

Still waiting on bug fix on galaxy nexus after reporting it worked awesome at first then stopped working after upgrade

It's great having this tool in a portable device. It'll help understand how a spectrogram works for musicians and aspiring sound engineers. I'm not sure if the scale has been well calibrated, though.

And the premium version has most of the features people complain about this one not having. That said, it's kind of annoying that logarithmic isn't the default, and that there aren't any advanced analysis tools at all even in the premium version... But the thing I took off a star for is that it doesn't show the full spectrum captured by the input device, which seems like the bare minimum for a spectrogram with non-adjustable range.

Cool! Audio Spectrum and nice piloting scroll in color or green. Apparently does what it says. A must have for your Audio, Sound, and Music tool box.

Come on guys 8 bands really? How about 32 band analyzer free for 14 days. I would NEVER buy first. As far as I'm concerned this 1 star equals ZERO.
