When there is no network, it should not show me the black screen without an opportunity to quit. Recursion or while loop on the start is not the best solution. Also you need to have some kind of refresh button, if the network has appeared... Consider changing exception handling logic

The internal IP addr matched the addr given by my System Settings "About Phone" "Network", but no valid external addr. in ipv6 format, almost all xeros, My "Network" setting was 32 hex digits that gave a location 150 miles away which i presume is the network providers server location.
