Simplifies finding which app is set to run as default! No permissions needed. Small download. This thing is worth paying for and it's free.
Lists all default actions you've set and opens relevant app's settings. Perfect if you wanna clear a default action but can't find the relevant app in settings.
Does nothing, shows single page only. Gingerbread 2.3.5
Wow. It solved my problem in no time.
confusing gui but it works.
I want to be able to reset any app I want not the ones this thing selects... deleted
Does't do anything useful
Example sure
For user installed apps. Not system apps.
Combine with "better open with" to keep your Samsung in line.
I initially left a bad review as I thought it didn't work. Turns out it's just confusing. You don't go the the app and remove the selected default, you go to the default and remove all apps that use it, which is a bit annoying, but that could be an android thing (?) to clarify, I had Photos chosen as the default pic upload ap for a radar app I use. I wanted to switch that to gallery. I thought I'd have to go to the radar app and reset that, but I had to go to Photos, which is annoying, as I had other apps i was happy to have Photos as the default for.
not bad for a free app. only issue is it doesn't actually clear defaults of apps, but instead open up each individual application's setting page, so you have to manually change the settings yourself. In that respect, it makes it easier, but it doesn't do anything to clear defaults.
This only sees Contacts, Gmail, and Nova Launcher. I have over 100 apps installed. Unfortunately the app I want to clear defaults is not one of those three. So, zero stars because it can see so few apps.
While watching some anime I accidentally make my default video player to my default video player. I don't ever make my apps default except my launcher. Like using 2 diff browsers at a time so I don't make my apps to be default. But that freakin accident makes me nuts hence I found this apps. I just want to say thanks to the dev :)
It only shows two apps on my android - browser and video, while in reality I've got many. Useless.
It's not the app you use that needs to be reset, app utilizes that needs to be reset so that's why this app is helpful. I hope this makes sense
Just launches to app settings page. Did not reset Google Now default app launches.
For user installed apps. Not system apps.
Wish it was a little more automated.
Does what it says.
Useful information,
Restores default to apps
DOES NOTHING
Very cool tool
Upon opening, it wrongly says "No default application on this device". Giving two stars as it seems to work for other users. My device is SGN N7000 with stock ICS 4.0.4 rooted.
It doesn't show all my default apps. Just a short list. Sms app? Dialer app? Etc app? Really?
... Unchecked the apps I didn't want as default but phone keeps asking me what app to use... That's not a solution I expected
It's not the app you use that needs to be reset, app utilizes that needs to be reset so that's why this app is helpful. I hope this makes sense
Very good app..
Do anything.?????
Best
Excellent app. Good one
Very useful
uninstall
Only shows the defaults you can clear yourself in manage applications. I was needing one to clear out video defaults so i can use a diff player.
Exactly what i was looking for, perfect. Using Nexus S
Only shows home launcher as a default, but I have an app set to open mail attachments that I don't seem to be able to clear. Not sure what will happen if I uninstall offending app :( I like that it requires no special permission & brings no adverts
Works like a charm. Thank you for quick update.
But default app manager does this and allows you to assign defaults as well.

Have 1 app, just 1 freaking app, Messenger that I need to set permanently. Apparently after last update, every day 2 & 3xs you have to reset default back to Messenger! Tried this app, simple did not work. Checked messages app to clear, restarted phone, Nope went right bck to Messages
