Install the widget through which you access the application to choose the colors of the day.
You can add notes on the selected day (touching it), with the menu (edit). Other calendars can be selected to read their events.

Beautiful calendar however the widget is too small for my Nexus 7 screen. Please make some 4x4 or larger widgets then I will try again. Thanks for all your hard work.
